Makes me weep: in the moment
I first heard this song a few days ago on TH-cam but sung by Iris De Ment and I got the impression (from listening to her other songs) that she isn't a believer in Jesus. So, I am looking for a version sung by a believer. Does anyone know about these musicians? My first impression is that the keyboard player is saved... Thanks for your help.
I wonder if you are aware that Iris De Ment wrote this song. Yes she collects her 'tax' doing secular songs but she does come to the 'well' often to replenish her thirst for the lord. Do check out her rendition of 'God walks the dark hills.'
Does something have to be delivered to you by someone that is "saved" before it's legitimate or something you can enjoy? If God can't speak to you otherwise you're in big trouble..
This is the problem with politics. It becomes a false idol. Because she's outspoken on progressive/liberal issues, she's "not a believer".
Simply wrong. Both sides can be believers. President Jimmy Carter helped spread the Gospel in China.
Do not judge Iris so harshly.

Trump? I thought someone had to be a Christian before you would listen to them as you stated about Iris DeMent singing her own song. If you consider Trump a Christian you really do need to start reading your Bible.
