200k plus miles is just starting point for these toyotas it will still go 300k miles with proper maintenance. This is why I chose toyota all the time. 😁
I have an 03 with 427k that I bought from a friend. Toyotas last, and its still solid. I leatned the 4wd engages when its moving at 20 mph then turn on the switch. Weird

@@digitaldoc100 I noticed that a 2008 Nissan xterra kept doing that too every year or other year. I think there is something with these 4 runner style vehicles that causes it. I would not use my brakes that much by down shifting to slow it down.

I have the same vehicle, but the V-8 version. Virtually the same condition. So far, I am at 330,000. Best vehicle I have ever owned!
I'm looking to buy a used one do they have any issues

330k is very impressive...
Thank you for reviewing these affordable vehicles.🙂
I’m trying to bring more of this content especially since new vehicles are getting so astronomically expensive.
@@NothinButCarReviews yes please do! I love seeing older vehicles being reviewed (especially seeing how much they've held up over the years.

LOL, back in the day. Can't even get a quality off roader like that today. ZERO, none, nada. That thing will run another 20 years.

@@NothinButCarReviews You're welcome.
How many brake jobs? It was every other year on my 2004 4Runner.
Didn’t check, but stopped great imo, didn’t seem different than the 2023 4runner.
@@NothinButCarReviews Mine stopped fine after each brake job, and the calipers seized and then destroyed the pads and rotors. Flawed by design.

Great review, is the 2004 Toyota 4Runner a worthy buy in 2024, maybe, around 84,000 miles for $12,000
I would say so.
Great review 👏 front grinding probably a bad wheel bearing...
Yeah that makes sense.
Very nice!
How much this pro ?
Think it went for like $8,000?
