Hey everyone!
I made a small mistake in the script. Grayscale tones are not completely ignored when selecting through channels! Instead, grayscale tones are selected as partially transparent. White is fully selected, black is ignored, and gray tones usually result in a transparent selection-depending on whether the tone is lighter or darker.
So, the truth lies somewhere in the middle, sorry! :D
