A close friend of mine who I'd known for 10 years, since we were teenagers, recently passed away. At the young age of 24 he had his life all ahead of him.
I remember years back he linked me this song, this link telling me how much he loved it especially the moving vocals.
Whoever you are reading this, know life is precious, it is short and it can end any moment. Make the most of, share it with friends and family, do what you love, what makes life worth living.
RIP Chris, you'll be missed buddy by all who were touched by your warm heart.

@Neronian Diamanti I'm sorry you feel this way. As someone about to hit 30, I can tell you life is just starting. Sure there have been some great time and some awful times, but that is life.
Set goals for yourself, work towards something. Life is about the journey, and it's only just beginning. I hope you are able to change your outlook as to not waste the life you have.

I heard this song months ago and still say it is one of the most beautifully sung pieces I have ever heard.
She has a magical sound, even though the music pierces through our hearts, it feels like it's starting flowering in those very shredded parts...

Aaargh, too much music to get. What does she have now, like three solo albums? Plus I don't yet have Souvenirs from the Gathering. Also, don't discount The West Pole from the Gathering with Silje Werjerland (sp?), its very close to what you'd expect and might even be better than Home which was easily my least favorite Gathering album.

@Aksvarn This song is on the 2nd album though, which I like even more than the first. But you may be surprised because it's very poppish. Hope you'll enjoy it.

i lost a friend of mine 2012. it was a shock. from a medical mistake. i knew it after she passed away. if i knew it maybe id help to save her life with another hospital. it was so hard for me. we were talking and she never mentioned to me. we were so close. i was calling her on her number after she passed away . just because i couldnt accept she is gone until today i remember her. she was a soft soul ,,,,,, leaving beautiful memories.... 4 years at college.... her funeral day was soooooooo desperate..... i couldnt crie only a day after it :/
