I loved your video on smart goals that you posted last year. It has really helped me. I am down 10 pounds and I have a better mental outlook. Just wanted to let you know how much you are appreciated. You’re a psychology degree definitely comes in handy.
Happy new year to you too, Janine thanks for being such an inspiration to me and my clients this year. We all love your channel and you are total goals. Hope your 2025 is as amazing as you 🎉🎉🎉❤❤
I’ve been working on building a habit of mindfulness, but it was hard at first to sit still and meditate without feeling restless. I started with 5-minute sessions, just focusing on my breath, and gradually increased the time as I got used to it!!
Building a habit was something I’d always found difficult, especially when it came to exercise. I tried to jump into intense workout routines and would quit after a few weeks. This time, I decided to approach it differently and started with a commitment of just 5 minutes of stretching every day. After a month, I was stretching for 15 minutes, and now I’m doing full workouts three times a week. The key for me was starting small and making it non-negotiable. Once I saw how much better I felt physically and mentally, I knew I was on the right track. Now, I can’t imagine a day without my stretches 🤩🧡
I struggled with eating healthier for a long time. It felt so overwhelming, and I kept telling myself I’d start “tomorrow.” This time, I approached it with the mindset of one small change at a time. I started by swapping sugary snacks for fruit and veggies, and I made sure to eat a healthy breakfast every day. After a couple of weeks, I noticed that the habit had stuck, and I was actually craving healthier foods. I didn’t try to overhaul my entire diet all at once, and that’s what worked - small, consistent changes that became natural. Now, I feel so much better physically, and my energy levels are through the roof 👏👍
My desk was always cluttered, and I could never find what I needed. I started with the simple habit of clearing off my desk every evening before bed. It only took 5 minutes, but it helped me start each day with a clean workspace. Over time, I added more organizational habits, like keeping a to-do list and sorting through emails once a day. It may seem like a small change, but it’s made a HUGE difference in how I manage my time and tasks 🙌
I’ve struggled to maintain a regular workout routine for YEARS. I always started strong and then fizzled out after a couple of weeks. This time, I approached it differently and set a goal of working out just twice a week-nothing crazy, just something to get me moving. I chose workouts I actually enjoyed, like yoga and cycling, and stuck to those two days. Over time, I increased my workouts to three times a week, and now I’m at a point where working out has become a regular part of my routine
I love the positive vibe you bring to every video, Janine! You look amazing, and it’s so motivating to see you looking so confident and happy while talking about habits ❤💚
I can’t believe it’s 2025 either I started watching your videos in 2022 and three years. Seems like forever ago since then I have entered two figure competitions and have been able to keep my weight down while still building muscle. By the way I absolutely love the top you’re wearing. Is it a shrug and a sports bra or combined?
I’ve been working on building the habit of drinking more water every day. At first, it felt like I was always reminding myself to drink, and I was often falling short of my goal. I decided to track my progress by using a water bottle with measurements on it, and it really helped me visualize how much I was drinking throughout the day!!!
This is so helpful! How do you adjust when you realize the habit you’ve started isn’t working for you? Do you tweak it, or do you give it a bit more time?
I’ve always wanted to develop a habit of reading every day. How do you recommend starting small with this one? Maybe setting a timer for 10 minutes a day?
One habit I’ve been trying to build is reading more, but I always felt like I was too busy. I knew I had to start small or I wouldn’t stick with it, so I committed to reading just 10 pages a day, no matter what. After a month, I was reading a book a week haha 😂😂😂
I’ve been thinking about trying to journal more regularly. Do you recommend making it a morning or evening habit, or does it not matter when you do it?
I’m working on becoming more organized, but I keep putting it off Janine. Do you recommend setting specific times during the day to work on it, or just doing a little at a time 😅
It’s taken me a while to build a solid habit of journaling every day, but I finally made it stick. I started by writing for just 3 minutes before bed-nothing crazy, just a few thoughts about my day. At first, I would forget some nights, but I kept at it. After a couple of weeks, I added a gratitude section, and now, I write 5-6 sentences every night. What’s surprising is how much clearer my mind feels, and how much more grateful I’ve become
I’m trying to form the habit of getting up early each day. Do you have any tips on how to break the habit of hitting the snooze button bcs it has been a challenge 😂😂😂

Being accountable for yourself is the most important I would keep a journal

How does it help with breaking the habit, and what’s the process like? Does it really replace the physical aspect of smoking?
You can read more on the website they have some interesting info
This video has given me so many good tips!!
Glad it was helpful!
Do you have any examples of habits that work really well together
Lifestyle habits in general build upon one another
I’ve always wanted to develop a habit of reading every day. How do you recommend starting small with this one? Maybe setting a timer for 10 minutes a day?
I would just pick a good time of the day to set aside
I’m definitely going to try starting small like you mentioned! How do you stay motivated on those days when you just don’t feel like doing it 😅😅
You can do it!
Do you recommend starting with meal prepping, or should I focus on making better choices one meal at a time 😊
Starting small is a great idea
One habit I’ve been trying to build is reading more, but I always felt like I was too busy. I knew I had to start small or I wouldn’t stick with it, so I committed to reading just 10 pages a day, no matter what. After a month, I was reading a book a week haha 😂😂😂
Thanks for sharinf
I feel like I need to plan everything out to start a new habit. How much do you rely on a specific plan versus just going with the flow? Any tips?
It’s good to have a plan, but you have to be flexible
I’ve always wanted to start a habit of meal planning every week bcs my diet was so bad with the holidays 🥲
You can do it!
This is such great advice!
😊
I think I struggle the most with consistency. How do you recommend tracking progress without feeling too discouraged if results take time??
Journals are great
I’ve been thinking about trying to journal more regularly. Do you recommend making it a morning or evening habit, or does it not matter when you do it?
I prefer bedtime
My cousin recently mentioned using this product to help break her smoking habit.
Amazinf
love this top on you!!
Thank you!!
I’m working on becoming more organized, but I keep putting it off Janine. Do you recommend setting specific times during the day to work on it, or just doing a little at a time 😅
Whenever you can fit it in
I’ve always struggled with sticking to new habits… do you have any advice on how to keep going when motivation starts to fade?
You can do it!
How easy is it to incorporate this to finally quit smoking? Do you use it multiple times a day, or just when cravings hit?
I think it varies per person
I’ve always been one of those people who struggles with staying organized.
Write it in a calendar that always helps me
I’m interested in this as a way to quit smoking, but I’m wondering - how effective is it compared to other methods, like nicotine patches or gum?
I think this cuts all the bad stuff out immediately, and in my opinion is preferable
How do you stay motivated on the days when you don’t see immediate results
Discipline is everything
I’ve heard a lot about this product, but I’m still unsure. Is it truly as easy to use as it seems???
I’ve never used anything like it, and I thought it was really easy
Does it really help with cravings, or does it take a bit of time to start seeing results??
It helps!
I always find myself feeling overwhelmed when trying to stick to new habits 🥵
It is very common
How do you deal with people who might not be supportive of your new habit, or is it better to keep it to yourself??
May be in that situation
This fit looks so good on you 😆😆
Thanks!
I’ve tried to build new habits in the past, but I always find myself slipping up
Very common
I’m always so good at starting new things, but then I get bored. How do you keep yourself interested in a new habit over the long term?
Set a goal and rewars
I’ve been trying to quit smoking, but the cravings are so strong. How soon after using this do you typically feel relief from those cravings?
It varies per person but I know it takes around two weeks to break a habit
Is it suitable for people who have been smoking for years, or is it more effective for beginners???
Really depends on the person
I always start strong with new habits but then lose interest 🙃
Find your reason why
It’s taken me a while to build a solid habit of journaling every day, but I finally made it stick. I started by writing for just 3 minutes before bed-nothing crazy, just a few thoughts about my day. At first, I would forget some nights, but I kept at it. After a couple of weeks, I added a gratitude section, and now, I write 5-6 sentences every night. I love it ❤️❤️
I’m sooooo bad at turning my phone off before bed i always end up scrolling in bed lol
Don’t do it
I’ve been wanting to build a morning routine but struggle to stay consistent 😭😣
You can do it!
I’m curious - what’s the hardest habit you’ve had to build and how did you stick with it when it felt difficult?
My competitions were difficult i made my training s non negotiable
I’ve been trying to make a habit of drinking more water each day… how do you recommend tracking something simple like that?
Buy a jug with a measurement
I’ve tried so many times to build habits, but I always fall off track…
Very common
I’ve heard that habits take about 21 days to form. Do you believe in that timeline, or does it vary from person to person???
It varies
how do you stay consistent with habits when life gets unpredictable
I try and stay consistent
I’m trying to form the habit of getting up early each day. Do you have any tips on how to break the habit of hitting the snooze button bcs it has been a challenge 😂😂😂
Good for you!
i always hate myself when i fall off
We all do don’t beat yourself up over it
I find it hard to start a habit when I don’t see instant results 😑😣
It can be frustrating
What’s the easiest habit you’ve found to start with and how long did it take for it to stick?
My skin routine because I see a difference pretty quick
I’m trying to reduce my screen time, but it’s been SO hard
You got this
I think I’ve been trying to change too many things at once…
That can definitely hurt
giving up completely…
good for you
I don’t smoke but this looks cool I want to try it
😂
Starting new habits always feels exciting, but the routine part gets hard
Yes it does!
