  • Nailed the positioning! I wanted it a tad higher so I shaved a tad lower in the back. I was not comfortable cutting the unit without my stylist showing me how its down.
    Still have to address colour fade, been a busy last few weeks!
    I go into detail on how I apply the walker tape! I have a trick!
    (USING A THUMB TACK AND TWEEZERS)
    I also start using my silk pillow case on the head as I work. It'll be easier on the unit! :)

    You did a great job dave! you just getting better and better at this, I'm happy for you man
    I have a question, are the red spots on your scalp caused by the tapes? And if it is because of it, is it harmful or painful?

    • @daveshairsystem5676

      It is because of tape. not painful in the least! the red mark on the front though is from using a pen to park my hair line spot that I wanted to line up on lol. I don't have a barbers pen.. yet!

    Hey Dave, I've just found your channel today and watched a load of your videos. Solid job man 👍. I've watched many hair system videos online and you have the most natural, undetectable style I've seen. Your videos, and your banner photo, both spot on. I think a lot of guys want to reclaim their teens/20's and have a long hair system (I did at first) but I think it's far better to have a shorter style and slip under the radar 👌 PS I can see your system has faded slightly. If it bothers you, could try doing semi-permanent darker highlights through the system with a colour that matches your natural hair 👍

    • @user-pu9jd5ec6c
      @user-pu9jd5ec6c 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just watched your day 1 video dude. Looks like the system was always lighter than your natural hair, it's probably not faded as much as you think! It's just when you start looking at systems under all lightings, especially strong daylight, it's easy to see a colour mismatch. But yeah, darker highlights should sort it out I reckon, and still look very natural 👍

      @@user-pu9jd5ec6c Hey S, thanks a lot! Love the feedback. I am also wondering if its that as my bio hair grows out on the sides, its more dense and darker, thus making everything seem lighter.
      I am looking into a colour dye in the coming week or so!!
      Thank you for watching and the kind comments man. Hope you're setting up for a nice weekend ahead!

      Your a sad sack of crap Dave. Your head is big and bumpy so forget shaving it. A hair system is easy yet you turn it into a choir. I feel sorry for you because your brain is to primitive to figure out how to wear a hair system. Here’s to ugly right...

    You look amazing; much better than your former hairline! I'm certain you could pass as a young 20's guy. Meanwhile, sometime when you're looking for another change, don't discount the idea of a shave: either beard and/or head! You are blessed!

    Who do you order your hair from and what’s the density ? it looks very good. Thank you

  • @David-no7zi
    @David-no7zi 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Another thought I've had regarding colour changes/mismatches - instead of trying to 'perfect' the match, why not just lean into it and have it as your style? It's not unheard of for people who have full heads of hair to dye parts of it; in your case it would look lik you were dying the top. One way to pull this effect off might be to cut your back and side hair shorter than you currently have it; but I understand if that's not the style you want. Overall though looks great; I can't imagine anyone in passing would dream in a million years that it's a system. And you do look better with hair than bald. As do I. As do a lot (most?) of men.

    Dave have you tried using strait-pins to attach your unit to the Wig Head while your working on it? Actually I am not sure if you can do this with a Styrofoam head. You can buy the cloth covered professional wig head on amazon, about 20-30 dollars. OH and great placement, more age appropriate!

    The hair looks much better after you dyed it, but trust me.... you don’t really need to go to a hair stylist to do that. Remember I mentioned to you about the Just For Man? You will get the same results for a fraction of the cost! And don’t worry, it will not stain your base. I’ve used it four times already, on different bases and never had any issue.
    The leaving in condition with UV protection will help your color to last long.
    And don’t use any “color adjust shampoo”! It doesn’t work well for hair system. It will loosen the knots and weaken the hair, making you loose more hair and faster than you normally would.
