This is the best assembly tutorial out there. Great videography. A lot of assembly tutorials make awkward jump cuts right when you are trying to see what is going on. And a lot of assembly tutorials have awkward camera angles where you can't even see what they person is doing. This tutorial has perfect videography. Thank you. I really appreciate it.
just got this off watching your video, sorry! had to order in UK, And also got the offline add-on and will get in a couple of weeks, the upgrade router by Genmitsu, not a bad price, at all, thanks sir! UK👍👍
Awesome!!! Glad the video helped you decide! It’s a great little machine that will get you going no doubt! Super easy to build and run. It may be frustrating if it’s your first CNC so expect to make mistakes and break bits! It’s all part of the fun! Cheers! 🍻
Genmitsu is a great brand and put out a quality product whoever I haven’t used this enough after the video to really give a long term feedback! From what I have seen though and the quality…. I wouldn’t be afraid to recommend it for a first or even second machine for any hobbyist!
@@TheCrawlspaceCraftsman Thank you. Did the rough cuts, that you said was user error, get better with use? I'm looking at a CNC to make products to sell. Less sanding the better.
Mine Just arrived at my front door ten minutes ago. big ol fat dent in the box, Thanks Canada Post. They left it out in the snow as well, didn't even knock on the door to let me know. Hopefully its all good. Liked and subbed.
for $450....hmmm....right off the bat, during assembly, the belt drive for x and y....not thrilled....the 70W spindle?....would have liked to see at least 300W....so for me, i'd pass....i know thru experience a weak spindle and belt drive system is just bad news in terms of consistency...,.nice vid though....

How are you feeling about the Genmitsu a few months in? I was a little worried about the ragged cut. Did that cleaned up as you learned more?

Thanks man! In appreciate it!
I bought one, it works well, i really like it 😀
It’s a great entry level machine for the hobbyist or small business! You can make some really cool stuff and it will pay for itself pretty quickly!
@@TheCrawlspaceCraftsmancan it carve acrylic? Trying to make an outline to put Neon LED
@ yes! It will carve Acrylic. You have to pay attention to speeds and feed rates so it won’t overheat and melt.
