I think I need to buy 3 of these considering how valuable the Hori-pad was.

I wonder what prices on these will be like in 20 years.

This is pretty neat, definitely useful for the gamecube gameboy player! If only retro-bit can make an actual gamecube-type controller that actually has the analog triggers to play games like Mario Sunshine. Here’s to hoping!

Awesome review man. The hardiness test was insane haha! Just brought one right now due to this review, thanks!

My vision of a perfect Gamecube controller would involve the same sort of layout, but with a much bigger d-pad and a full sized C stick that's easy to grip on. And I can't believe manufacturers still haven't made such a thing yet!

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to convince manufacturers and execs to invest in a good controller without gimmicks. Let alone a good retro controller.
Turbo buttons and back buttons are easy to advertise. It feel good is not

Understandable. I loved the GBA selection on Wii U. Stupid Nintendo not keeping it going...

@@ArchadesGames i was looking to buy this controller to use on my switch with the 8bitdo gbros adapter, it lets you connect gc and wii classic controllers to switch and pc through blurtooth

Yeah that should be a perfectly usable solution for it. I would confirm if I had a gbros adapter 😅

Do you know if the ZR/ZL Buttons work as unique inputs or if they're the same for each input? I wanna connect this through an adapter to my modded SNES Classic so I can make the menus ONLY accessible by holding down the shoulder triggers and this seems like a nice compromise than just getting a classic controller for the Wii. I did hear it was GBros compatible and compatible with stuff like the mayflash adapter but I just don't know if ZL/ZR are recognized as separate unique buttons entirely.

How do you get the turbo button working? I'm having trouble myself.

The Gamecube is not the best failed console ... That would be the Dreamcast .. Common mate 🙄

I saw that wireless gamecube controller that looks like a switch pro controller and couldn't stop thinking, this just can't be it for the third party redesigns, there has to be something with a better neutral design. I'm so glad we have this. Bought mine in indigo.
