Some people that say they don't like this song is simply because they can't relate to it, it's a well crafted song
Rumour has it that one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.

If you don't write you don't know how hard it is, to keep a constant rhyme that makes sense, anyone can rap like lil wayne, tyga, and the others out there, here he used basic words like those rappers but Slugs shit makes sense, some of his best work might be behind him. Don't hate appreciate

I have to be honest..I am not a huge Hip Hop fan..But Atmosphere is just badass...I love the beats, the lyrics...Slug has a flow that cant be matched.
You're just ignorant. Atmosphere is great and I'm assuming you're a rock fan. So imagine if I went to a video from Cold Play and said "I don't really listen to rock, but Cold Play is the best band in the world!"
That's pretty much how you come off. If you think Slug is the only person who flows like this, tells stories like this, or uses these type of beats and this subject matter, you're completely off.

I don't know about y'all, but I like his evolution. The last album was damn near a masterpiece. Thing about it is though, even though he evolves, he still puts out good music. Most artists come out with something a few years later and it's nowhere near what they were known for and is just terrible. (Nelly latest endeavor is a perfect example ms. Porsche) Atmosphere holds true to one thing throughout, making meaningful music. Even his latest all has a message. The sound is different but the core of his music is still there. Good job guys, don't stop til' ya get enough!!

at first I didn't like this song... at all... I heard all of the early release stuff. I didn't like any of it. I felt that maybe slug is settling too much, and he doesn't really have much to say anymore. Though the more I listen to southsiders, the more I realize where the album is coming from. All the songs, they all have a down side to them.... and I started to wonder if maybe that was just him trying to hard. Then I started to evaluate everything as a father, with my own son being 8 months in a couple days... it's a tough life to swallow, and slug has always made sure he spoke that his albums were a reflection of the times he was in. Then I started to feel that this album wasn't the aggressive father in his twenties.. but the worried father in his thirties... everything is well written, and seems as though he has lost touch with who he was. The easy answer is because that isn't who he is anymore... Compare the Sean who was dealing with a young Jacob to the Sean that is living with an older Jacob and Malcolm who needs attention as well. He is growing up, and this is his job. He makes music. I see the darker side of this album as him taking the bad parts of his life, and working them into his craft. The songs aren't bad at all. Though he has alot to adjust to in his life from the time he made Lucy Ford to the time he wrote this.... and honestly I can understand where he is coming from. He isn't using his music to express everything.... though I think he is expressing his pain and regrets in this album and it took a darker, slower tone to express them. This album is his reflection on his life, at this point, as all his albums he has released. This isn't the cocky slug that we knew, this is the older, more mature slug who isn't letting his family take in what he has had to reflect upon as he is growing with his children, and wife. This is the slug using his music as a release.. and I have nothing but respect for this album. Slug. Ant. Keep up the amazing work and let me continue to peer into your lives.

Based on the the "Southsiders" promo pic & the production on this track, is it safe to assume atmosphere is back to being a duo & no longer a "band"???...I really hope so.the production/creativity/hunger has all been lacking since the changeover and i would love to see the beats return to their sound pre-lemons.If this is actually the case, my anticipation/expectations for this project just skyrocketed!
