    Hope you all are having a great holiday! Have you seen this version of the introduction and proof of Cauchy's integral theorem before and what did you think of it?

    I watched your video about contour integrals couple of months ago, it was before my midterm for Engineering Math II course. I really liked your clear explanations and voice, you sound like a very kind man :) I was sad because that video was uploaded 3 years ago... I wanted to check your channel again tonight and saw these new videos. I'm glad you're back with new content, I'm studying for the final exam of that course and your videos are very helpful! Thanks a lot

Let me know if you have any question about the content I present here and I will be sure to try and help you out to the best of my abilites :) Second of all, thank you for the kinds words, I'm back and dedicated to start uploading more regulary and trying to help more people with different areas of mathematics!
      Also best of luck with all your studies candlelight!

    You are sooooo patient while explaining... it's almost therapeutical... i don't normally understand the concepts that easily. So thanks a lot! I just have one doubt. If the integral is 0 for all closed loops, then why isn't the integral 0 for all the examples we did in Cauchy's integral formula?

    Is the "hole" like a singularity where the function is not defined?

    • @TheMathCoach
      @TheMathCoach  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but it dont have to be a singularity, just not defined (which can be because of a singularity).

    This would be a great example of basic homotopy theory to show topology students, and maybe a great motivator, too!
