I think they're just desperate to feel loved. Americans in general are very lonely people because they don't have the same family bonds as much of the rest of the world does. Something like 50% of American marriages end in divorce. I can't help but feel sorry for them.
Our culture does not prioritize family. We work and work and then work some more. So many divorces because married couples spend so much time apart and then they are too tired to bond properly. Kids practically raise themselves so there's no strong bond with the parents and no feelings of obligation to take care of the elderly so old people end up alone or in nursing homes. Also, people don't have a religious faith anymore to draw them together. I'm Hispanic and we still carry on our traditions and we have tight families even though we all live in separate states, we purposefully travel all of the time. But it's not so with other races. Americans are in fact lonely.
Oussama really thinks he can make a living as an artists, he needs a reality check. He can get a job and do art as a side hustle or as a hobby. People in America cant even survive on selling art alone he's no picasso
