Hey, nice one! This has rightfully dethroned my (waaay easier) 36 balls run from 13 years earlier. I still know, however, why I quit going for official records when most real progress almost inevitably became... "glitchy" ;)
There’s actually a secondary problem that’s also caused by a glitch used in the speed runs in the fact that if the cube goes too fast, it’ll just start fazing through the walls and there’s nothing outside the Tumbler. If you get out then any gooballs that go offscreen enter a kill plane.
This is the most impressive OCD I've ever seen (although I only discovered WoG on YT a week ago. I played it a TON back when I was a kid and it first came out) Would 39 balls be possible if the white starting structure was broken up even further using the same mechanic?
Despite how hard this level is, its one of the easiest to hit OCD with. Then again, so is pretty much every one of them where you build with only green guys

I don't think I've ever seen such physics engine abuse since Half-Life 2 speedrunning, honestly. Impressive!

yes, of course, but it would have been to hard to set up, i never tried

Seems dangerous at the end of all of this to use the albino ball instead of the ivy ones to lift the triangle. Is there a reason for that?
albino is heavier than ivy, it makes thwacking easier

The absolute cap is 39 because one goo ball will always be left behind, no matter what
