These videos will be reference for years 😊 I’m waiting for you to teach how to connect it to n1mm for at control and send cw. If it’s possible I’ll buy the digirig. Thanks and 73!
Thanks for the video, going to be setting this up soon myself. Looks like you’re out in Pine? I’m over in Conifer, might have to hit you up for some advice on some things if you’re open to it!
Thank you for the amount of detail found in this video. Up until now, its been a lot of piecing together info from multiple sources. Having some issues connecting but it was great to hear the modem dial etc by the end of the video. 73!
@@JosephLittleK3ARK No, it was fine! It got me to where I needed to be. I was able to successfully contact a gateway on 40 meters. Again, thank you! 🙏. Keep the videos coming. I like your real world relaxed style! It’s way more relatable than many of the other content creators.
Wow! That really means a lot to me. It has been a challenge, getting into the whole TH-cam thing. It is not easy as going out and recording video and uploading it. It is getting better and I am learning but in the beginning I was always messing things up or things would mess up or I wouldn't be able to get things work and I almost abandoned the channel but it is/was viewers like you that gave me the encouragement to keep going. Again, I really can't tell you how much I appreciate it!
And after you have made all of the cable connections the first time, label both parts of each connection (A-A, B-B, etc, or 1-1, 2-2, etc.) so you don’t have to remember all of the connections for the next time.
Helpful video. A bit confusing about USB connectors. Your cable with USB -C on one end and USB-A at the opposite end. The “Printer cable is USB-A to B. B plugs into he radio (or printer).
Not on the 891, they must run over the USB Cat Interface in the middle on the rear Side. But there ist Hope. Digirig bring out the DR891, it has an build in Cat Interface.
You figured out how to drive the ALC on the FT - 891!
that’s fantastic. I’m gonna test this week.
Great walk-through of setting up the FT891 with the Digirig. Thanks!

I really appreciate that comment and again for watching. I don’t use n1mm logger but give me a little time and I’ll see what I can figure out

Thanks for the video. Always tough getting all the volume levels set right.
Thanks - Sometimes this digital mode stuff is way to convoluted. You made it simple. Almost plug n play thank you 73
Great content Joseph 👌 👏
Thank you. I appreciate that very much!

Great video. I’m looking for good radio settings. Do you have a list of radio settings?
why not let digirig do CAT control over the audio cable? this is a feature of digirig? - thanks!
