Saludos Steve y Anita.
Thankyou for showing us Can Picafort. I laughed at the waves. When in Port de Soller in May a huge wave came in and knocked me off my feet, much to the hilarity of my daughter and son in law!! Bit of a shock I have to say. It was my last dip before heading home as well. Looking forward to seeing Playa de Muro in a video soon.
Love Can Picafort. We were there from 22 july until last week. Booked again for next year. noticed a lot of shops/bars closed that we used to go to which is a shame and market was nowhere near as big as it used to be. Been going to the area for 25yrs.
Never made it to Can Picafort in May as was staying in Palma, but went to Alcudia & Pollensa. Thanks for showing me Can Picafort, it looks very pretty! Beach looks very busy, all those people in the sea & I couldn't see one lifeguard!
@@SteveandAnitainMallorca hi there, can i ask what day is market day? can i also ask if you can advise which buses can take myself and my partner to different parts, such as alcudia is there a bus which goes here? Thanks and loved the video!

lovely to see that you're enjoying your retirement :-) i went to can picafort once for a day out once and enjoyed strolling around and having the odd pint ;-) my favourite place is still puerto pollensa, i'll be going there in october. take care and thanks for the great videos! 🙂
@@SteveandAnitainMallorca hope to bump into you there! i'm going on the 3rd october-10th. i can recommend a lovely mallorcian restaurant, called celler la parra, great food and great prices, its between the 2 eroskis, but usually you have to book as its so popular (closed mondays)
Hi Steve and Anita love watching your videos you both do a great job. Hi. Coming over to Santa Ponsa on Friday the 14th. Is it still meant to be mega hot by then or cooling down again? I've stocked up on lots of factor 50!
@@SteveandAnitainMallorca oh wow really 👍 very beautiful place isn’t it but as I said Alcudia is my favourite. If possible would love to see the strip in alcudia if you are passing that way 🙏🏻🤗

That's a nice change for you. It's so hot at the moment, glad you had a break for refreshments.
It could hit 40ºC this week!!!
Nice walk somewhere different, i bet you were thankful for the breeze. Thanks Steve and Anita.
The breeze was great and made it easier to walk.
Great video and lovely to hear you chatting in Spanish to the locals
We do, now and again!
We’ve visited here a few times now and we are going back in a couple of weeks so looking forward to it , thankyou for the video

Me imagino que C'an Picafort ha cambiado mucho con los años. No comimos allí, pero regresamos a nuestro hotel por un pepito de lomo.

Port de Soller is usually so calm, but the sea can get lively. The event will become one of those "do you remember when" moments.
@@faithg9766 Been there at least 6 times but never got hit down by a wave before lol !!
You don't usually get big wave in Port de Soller. The wind has to be in a particular direction.

We missed the market on this trip. We'll have to go again when we are back.

It was very busy. We saw lifeguards along the beach. There was a yellow flag flying.
