Making Journal/Collage Cards

- Hey Guys - I have had this pile of papers, vintage comics, images and scrap cut aparts sitting around on my desk for awhile now so I piled them all into a tray and tried to make a dent in them by making some Journal/Collage Cards. A tip: you can watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

Wow!! Sarah.I love everything about your scrap collage journal cards. The childrens book scraps and stitching and adding the little bits of lace, PERFECT!!! 💗😊👌💗
Carol that is so lovely of you to say thank you! I have to admit I really love using this type of combo with the comics, bright papers and black and white pieces. Add a bit of Washi and sewing and your done! I just wish I could work a little faster to get more done and make more of a dent in those scraps lol. Hope you are keeping well xxx

Needless to say, you can sell them as digital files to in your store (or at least, scan them for yourself - it's always useful as a plan B solution).

Hi Julie! Oh I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! I feel like I sit there and make things like this up and then look over to my pile and I can't even see the dent I have made lol. In reality I know the pile of scraps is going to head back into my craft room in a few days, but I hope I can make double the amount up tomorrow. This is inspiring Sarah. I think coles has a more brown lunch bag. Now I’ll have to go look at Woolworths to see if there’s lighter slightly yellow ones.

Hi Christina! Yes actually looking back I realised it has Coles on the brown lunch bags, so maybe woolies do the more yellow ones. The yellowish ones are actually a more smoother tone which Is really nice! I like using a combo of both, and they are so cheap! You can use them for so much to! I'm so glad it was relaxing to watch! The Washi tape samples I got from a penpal and also the others in happy mail to. I love Washi tape samples like that, so many to choose from!!! xx
