Subversion is now highly searchable, particularly with the release of Bon Fire. This season, I've won many games with Cosmo Lock, whereas last season, I struggled going first due to opponents drawing outs. SNW provides a follow-up play for the next turn. The Cons: More prone to bricking than Omni HERO. Playing 60 cards sometimes makes it challenging to draw crucial cards like Droplet and TTT, even though I run three copies in my deck. Struggles in the Labyrinth meta, where Cosmo Neos isn't particularly effective as opponents often opt for Set Pass strategies. Overall, Cosmo Neos significantly improves going first, addressing one of HERO's main weaknesses: uncertainty about the opponent's deck. Cosmo Neos counters almost all decks that don't rely heavily on traps or backrow.
The 45 deck I do the combo and so far haven’t been drawing that 3rd neo spacian so instead of going 4 dark law, I summon prisma with wake up effect to send final neo spacian into GY. Next turn, summon cosmo.
I decided to play the Prisma deck (45 cards) in TCG and the deck really works, especially now that we can combo/recover better with 3 Malicious. I was so surprised by how well it works and how fun it is to play that I actually bought the missing Neos cards I needed to play it in locals ! With 3 Mali you can do Cosmo Neos, Brave Neos & DPE with only Faris + any HERO by making Infernal Devicer last with Spirit of Neos & Wonder Driver. Sadly this leaves no Shining Neos follow-up because you need to make Wonder Driver before Devicer and use it as a material for Devicer which might be a problem if opponent can play a bit through Cosmo lock, but it's still nice to have the option. Still with Mali at 3 now I prefer the Prisma version because it doesn't require to run 2 Neos and Neos Fusion. It can't make Cosmo + DPE with Faris + any HERO because dumping a spacian to the GY with Prisma makes it lose its "HERO" name making it unable to go into Devicer unlike the Spirit of Neos variant which dumps it with Neos Fusion, but the flexibility of the deck makes it usually easy enough to get into Cosmo Neos + DPE (sometimes Dark Law too!) - for instance the "desperate combo line" can get DPE + Cosmo Neos with 3 Mali -, and there's always the classic Omni HERO lines to fall back on in case you can't make it. Again really fun deck to play, works well in TCG and it's a fun twist on Omni HEROs to play a bit of Neos while still having the flexibility and perks of Omni HEROs.
