I've never in my life seen the endoskeleton of the animated buck so this was very unique to see. Definitely worth a note for anyone who is trying to take ahold of one of these things
Cool video! rare to see the insides of a buck. If you could (without damaging it) reassemble and run the Buck without the skin, that would be a really interesting video. We would get to see how the components move.
I already assembled him he now fully works. I have one more to repair though so maybe I could do it then, there is just so many pieces it is a pain. I would waste a lot of time to reassemble him to take him back apart to put the skin on again. took nearly 4 hours to do it the first time.
I did actually end up getting mine open with this method, thank you. I did break the back clip on one, but I'm happy I got the skin off all the way to fix the mouth.
A tip u should do with the skin is when u take it off tape the indide where the eye brows and whiskers off because they pull out because the skull isnt there meaning the pull out from the inside.
Your videos have really helped me on a rebuild of a badly damaged Buck. I'm transforming it into a demented unicorn. I replaced all the 10 tooth gears, and I've got it all fixed and working except for one broken gear in the mouth gearbox. It is the large 40 tooth gear that is on the square shaft that holds the jaw. Do you happen to know where I can get a replacement for that part? Thanks!
