    • @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise
      @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it cost £12.80 at the time of filming to Heathrow, and the Heathrow Express is around £25.00 one way a little quicker but near double the price 👍

    How long does it approximately take to get from platform 2 (arrival Stansted express) to platform B(Elisabeth Line)? And...Do I have to go outside the train station to find the escalator or are they inside the station?

    • @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise
      @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say overall it should take 5 minutes to get to the Elizabeth line as shown it the video this is assuming you arrive by Stansted Express train and not the Stansted express bus which stops outside Liverpool Street station.Also I would allow yourself enough time to get to the platform if it is your first time visiting the station and no you do not have to go outside to find the escalator these are within the station so as shown in the video follow the Elizabeth line symbol and arrow as shown in the video and you should be grand have a great journey and I hope this helps. 👍

    as @DagenhamLegend said this has help my nerves a lot.. we are coming in to Stansted and leaving out of Heathrow the next day.. i knew to take the Stansted express to liverpool street. now i know how to get to heathrow from liverpool. question: we will have a set of golf clubs 1 large suitcase and a smaller roller suitcase. will that all fit on the trains? also is there an app to use or is it just easier to tap the credit card and go?

      Hi Thanks for your comments yes the train has plenty of space so all your luggage items will fit no problem.Yes the tap in tap out of the credit card is the cheapest method when traveling around London, all trains and this the Elizebeth, line it would be easier then using oyster cards or ticket machines and have a great trip 👍

    Thanks for this information. Question: if you don't get off the train at Terminals 2&3, would you still get to Terminal 5 on the same train?

    • @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise
      @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Glad it helped and no you need to Get the Elizebeth line to T 5 on the display board.

      @@travelbyplanestrainsandcruise Thanks for the reply. I'm so confused, hehe. I've never taken the train in the UK. All the train routes I've searched to get to T5, they first list T2 & T3 as a previous stop before getting to T5. So, on Central London I should just wait for the train that lists T5 as the final destination, correct?.

      @travelbyplanestrainsandcruise  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I know it can be a bit confusing for your first time, but if you follow the signs to the train as shown and before you board you will see T5 on the display while it still may go to T2 and 3 the end terminal is T5 and now if you got the train that displayed T4 it goes first to T2 and T3 and ends at terminal 4 as the track splits to a different section.Allow yourself enough time and you will see it is not as complicated as it may sound.Have a great trip 👍

    How about the reverse direction? Can I also use a contactless credit card to tap-in at Heathrow?
