what is up with ppl on fries and never turning off the fucking beeping alarms. as someone who works in back area that shit pisses me off especially when i’m on fry and i’m running frantically with trays and pulling things out of scalding hot oil that’s slowly singeing the arm hair off of me while the pricks in front area get to have a conversation with their besties, water in one hand fry basket in the other, while 60 different things have been beeping at them for the last 15 minutes.

To those unaware, this specific alarm is for reminding you to check that the oil is clean. You're supposed to clean the friers at least twice a day, cycle out old oil once a week, and deep-clean once a month. Problem is... The friers are set to activate their cleaning alarms after only a handful of hours after cleaning, because the shittier stores ruined things for everyone else and upper management learned the hard way that the only way to get people to do their jobs is through annoyance.
Worked for a summer once, almost every night for weeks on end had dreams about working at McDonald’s with these sounds! Woke up every day exhausted as if I’d finished a shift THEN had to go to work….. never again

To be honest, in between these noises and the god-awful covers ASDA blasts over its speakers, I prefer these, since at least on the rare occasion where the music's turned off, I can still hear myself think with this going on in the background!
