At our school, we don't have lockers. Only tiny useless boxes you could rent. Nobody really uses them anyways. For each subject we have a heavy textbook, "workbook", and a notebook. Each day we have 7 subjects. We are lucky if we have PE so no books needed. My backpack is VEERYYY HEAVY. I used to bring a bag with wheels but it ripped. Yes it *ripped*. And it's hard to bring it upstairs as well. You can't even put stuff under your desk since after school janitors will put it in lost and found and somebody else will claim it. I bring my pencil case, books, draft book, lunch bag(inside is a lunch box) water bottle. Lip balm geometric box. Hair brush. And extra water. Yep and that's how my books got heavier from 1-6th grade.
When we were in 5th grade our teachers made us put most of our stuff in our desk to our backpacks (I will never forget that day) I had to walk home that day and my house is like 1 mile away AND IT WAS FREAKING 25 POUNDS

Lmao your book bag is way different than mine😂 maybe because I only have the basic classes barely any honors or AP classes, so my book bag is very light.
We have Chromebooks 3rd-12th grade now and I honestly think it should be 5th-12th bc so many 3rd and 4th graders have ruined theirs it's actually unreal
