GLC is an awesome format! Being a newer player since the last few sets of the Sun and Moon era this format can be a little intimidating. It would be awesome to see how a GLC Standard rotation only would play out! I’d definitely be there for that video!
Do you think it possible to break these up into single match videos to make it a little more digestible? Would love to watch it periodically as a series.
Can someone tell me if im understanding the rules correctly? Bronzong BREAK is not allowed in GLC because it has a rulebox, is that correct? I was confused because of the comments the spectators made during the first match.
It is not, certainly not anymore than standard. In standard matchups like roaring moon vs mew vmax are really rough. In GLC, you can accommodate for your weaknesses. And the fact that your pokemon aren’t getting Ohkod for 2-3 prizes each helps too
Hey Andrew I had a question on gym leader challenge, I know u had said rule box cards aren't allowed, but since u allowed ancient trait cards, is there any way u could test the waters with pokemon break cards since TECHNICALLY they still drop one prize card? 🤔 Edit: if u do allow pokemon breaks, have them be limited to 1 per deck maybe 🤔
this is what pokemon is supposed to be. focus on evolving throughout the game to gain power. using abilities to progress your board. a back and fourth. not you whiffed on your first turn i took 3 prizes turn 3 so I just win.
Round 6 is one of the absolute best Pokemon games I've ever gotten to watch. Absolutely insane game.

At 3:13:02 JW used Liepard's ability to draw 2 cards with only 1 card left on the deck. Doesnt that deck him out and cause him to lose?

Ancient trait cards aren't ruleboxs, BREAKs are. They won't be allowed.
Honestly I'm down to play with my online metal deck but I don't have them irl, but maybe I can make a deck with my cards that I have
