I remember a male cat trying to do this to a 7 month old stray I was feeding, she slipped past me & ran into the house to get away from him so I just kept her. Again my point isn't being that this is abnormal behaviour from the cats perspective. The reason why I think this was a bit wrong was because I'd hate to see that female cat struggling to survive on her own feeding her kittens the smallest amount of food she can find while also most likely wanting to avoid getting jumped by more male cats again. And usually it's not that hard to spot them piling up in flocks for either a) mating or b) food. Hopefully she's an owned cat. This whole thing about a certain someone saying that the rest of the people commenting live in "Sunshine's and rainbows" mate - get your head out of your arse. I'm pretty sure a majority of people who'd owned cats know the gist of their natural animalistic behaviours - but it's invasive and sorry to break it to ya but it IS a problem. You'd be surprised how many cats have been put down because they got into nasty fight, got seriously hurt and sadly because the animal shelters are so full vets have no other option but to put them down. The problem isn't that the cats are being cats it's that there's nothing being done to ACTUALLY help the cats that aren't exactly in the right position to be breeding. Especially in places which there's a large majority of them and especially territorial ones who'll fight for bits and scraps.

I still remember when a stray male cat was trying to force my cat to be his mate, and my cat kept fighting until the spot between her shoulder, (the spot where male cats will bite female cats during mating process) bleeds because she kept trying to push the male cat off, so the male cat bit harder. I was so shocked that I brought her to the vet because I’m scared of infection. In the end I managed to capture and send the male cat away and kept my cat locked in until it passes. I know you’re not supposed to do that, but I’m scared she’d get hurt even more, since the male cat would bite her injury and caused more bleeding. She got pregnant, but she had a car accident before that and broke one of her hind leg. She survived and had took some medicine. She only had one kitten and sadly, it died during birth. The body was weird and the kitten must’ve been dead all along :( After that we quickly neutered her, but she didn’t seem like a normal cat anymore, she was acting weird and seemed depressed. I gave her more love and respect, and now it has been 3 years after that, and she’s okay now

This is how my neighbor's cat looks like after a period of badass outdoor. Once a month he'd look like he came out of salon it's so odd and funny. Not only his owner groomed him, he also had some haircut on the sides. When I talked about how different he looks like and did he had a haircut, he looked so embarrassed he could no longer look straight at me. It doesn't take a cat to be sick or anything to look like this, sometimes they just squeezed in any places and fight with anyone and ended looking like that.

Last week, I made a female cat come closer to me by petting her. A nearby stray male cat saw her and kept meowing at me (Because this female cat is his girlfriend). Cats in heat will usually submit if the male mounts them, not scratch them and flick them off.

That said, I don't think IF there was a scenario where there'd be a gang of cats in the street pouncing on a female cat to breed more cats, is such a good idea. Bare in mind these cats could be from either homes or wild cats - which a majority carry diseases fleas and spread infections to other cats if they seriously get aggressive or haven't been treated or vaccinated. Again my point isn't being that this is abnormal behaviour from the cats perspective. The reason why I think this was a bit wrong was because I'd hate to see that female cat struggling to survive on her own feeding her kittens the smallest amount of food she can find while also most likely wanting to avoid getting jumped by more male cats again. And usually it's not that hard to spot them piling up in flocks for either a) mating or b) food. Hopefully she's an owned cat.
This whole thing about a certain someone saying that the rest of the people commenting live in "Sunshine's and rainbows" mate - get your head out of your arse. I'm pretty sure a majority of people who'd owned cats know the gist of their natural animalistic behaviours - but it's invasive and sorry to break it to ya but it IS a problem. You'd be surprised how many cats have been put down because they got into nasty fight, got seriously hurt and sadly because the animal shelters are so full vets have no other option but to put them down. The problem isn't that the cats are being cats it's that there's nothing being done to ACTUALLY help the cats that aren't exactly in the right position to be breeding. Especially in places which there's a large majority of them and especially territorial ones who'll fight for bits and scraps.

I still remember when a stray male cat was trying to force my cat to be his mate, and my cat kept fighting until the spot between her shoulder, (the spot where male cats will bite female cats during mating process) bleeds because she kept trying to push the male cat off, so the male cat bit harder. I was so shocked that I brought her to the vet because I’m scared of infection. In the end I managed to capture and send the male cat away and kept my cat locked in until it passes. I know you’re not supposed to do that, but I’m scared she’d get hurt even more, since the male cat would bite her injury and caused more bleeding. She got pregnant, but she had a car accident before that and broke one of her hind leg. She survived and had took some medicine. She only had one kitten and sadly, it died during birth. The body was weird and the kitten must’ve been dead all along :(
After that we quickly neutered her, but she didn’t seem like a normal cat anymore, she was acting weird and seemed depressed. I gave her more love and respect, and now it has been 3 years after that, and she’s okay now

This is how my neighbor's cat looks like after a period of badass outdoor. Once a month he'd look like he came out of salon it's so odd and funny. Not only his owner groomed him, he also had some haircut on the sides. When I talked about how different he looks like and did he had a haircut, he looked so embarrassed he could no longer look straight at me. It doesn't take a cat to be sick or anything to look like this, sometimes they just squeezed in any places and fight with anyone and ended looking like that.

Last week, I made a female cat come closer to me by petting her. A nearby stray male cat saw her and kept meowing at me (Because this female cat is his girlfriend). He clawed the left hand I used to pet her after several meows because he thought that I stole his girlfriend. Damn....that male cat's both claws leave several marks on the back of my hand and one of the mark nearly bleed. I had to shoo him away afterward because he clawed me, ouch! I still have them until now. Who knew that jealous male stray cats can be dangerous when they saw you petting female cats 🤔

If she was interested in the male cat, she'd meow loudly and assume the mating position - rear raised, forelegs bent down, etc. And she'd be too restless to eat. Cats in heat will usually submit if the male mounts them, not scratch them and flick them off.
