Very peaceful I noticed some of the architecture on the buildings here in Tennessee USA were I live, a lot of Irish emigrated here. There's a lot of Stone walls here too. I have Irish ancestors who came from Northern Ireland to Louisiana USA. I enjoyed your video thank you.
Thank you, yes there certainly were a lot of Ulster men and women who settled in Virginia, Tennessee and other Southern states. A strong historical kinship exists between us. POTUS Roosevelt wrote a lot about that connection some of which can be read here: ulsternation.org.uk/ulster%27s%20contribution%20to%20america.htm
Thank you 😊. I'm both excited and a bit scared as don't know NI and no support network of friends! I've been told Irish people are generally very friendly - I hope so 😅. Don't know where I'll end up yet, I'm looking all over NI. The housing market is more vigorous than I expected!
I'm sure, any move is stressful. I guess your best choice is where the jobs are available, obviously most are around the capitol Belfast. Housing prices are like the rest of the UK terraced/townhouse being the cheapest, then apartments, semi-detached, detached being the highest. The recent lockdowns have seriously effected the housing market and living standards too. Yes the Northern Irish are friendly but like every other country we have a bad element too. Wishing you every success😃
@@nornirishrover It's the " bad element " that is one of my concerns , but maybe I've been watching too many TH-cam videos 😱😱. Thank you very much for the job site links 😀, much appreciated!
