- We're back and in the trenches!!! That first episode was so overwhelming emotional and SAD (but beautiful tho), but the NON-NEGOTIABLES I cannotttt.... Carmy is losing it me thinks :) It's the way I'm now on Ritchie's side more than Carm's, like I actually can't with this menu thing, like Carmen, babe, be logical here! also.. JOHN CENA?!?!? love it

I watched it. Like it, didn't love it, but i can't wait for season 4.
Carmy & Claire weren't going to work for the same reason Sydney is getting pushed out of the menu creation. Carmy isn't dealing with his mental health so he's distracting himself. IDK if he's gonna have a wake up call. He'll apologize and then lash out at everyone again.

I’m actually surprised that you said that there was no online discourse about The Bear season 3 because, when I was on TikTok alone, EVERYONE was talking about it. But to be fair, I watched the whole thing as soon as it came out. So maybe it just didn’t feel like it was highly talked about to you because 1. You were avoiding spoilers and 2. You watched it much later! But I also think it’s cause everyone felt the same way. That the whole point of season 3 was to prepare us for season 4!!
Anyway, yeah!!!! I truly loved the first episode!! It was such a huge difference from what we were used to from seasons 1 and 2! I absolutely loved how it focused so much on silence! It was so silent that it felt so jarring.
And yessss! I think that this was Sydney’s season. Literally everyone else’s season except for Carmy’s. Which is the point I think. I loved that we all got to know more about everyone’s background with Mikey and The Beef.
Also, John Cena being there is the most random but hilarious cameo I’ve ever seen

It's the weakest season BUT I still mostly loved it. I always watch seasons of the bear multiple times and I've appreciated season 3 more with re-watches

S3 was the weakest for sure for me but it wasn’t badly written at all I just think it was a bit of a transition season sort of like HotD season 2
