I really like John collins' game he can dunk create a shot and a great mechanic tool player his playmaking is amazing and he is also a great defender the biggest weakness was his consistency and limited role. The hawks missused him correctly because of dejounte and capela making him an useless player for the hawks. I am just glad the Jazz traded him for basically free. Now with his hometown team Jazz. He is gonna be a massive contributor to the Jazz organization. All i hope for him is to improve his consistency and be a great defensive player
Those who believe John C is MAGICALLY better after leaving the Hawks are prisoners of the moment lol. Yeah, he’s putting up “impressive” (for Jazz standards) numbers but he’s on a bad team. Same as with ATL; he put up good numbers when the team was struggling. Eventually the team improved but he didn’t. 🤷♂️ - He’s a great locker room guy though and the type of person I root for, but don’t act like the Hawks were holding him back.
dude when the team improved his role got reduced its not like he got worse the hawks just stuck him in the corner all game and last time the hawks were good during their conference finals run he was a big factor in that run
he doesn’t have a smart passer guard in the jazz, they had sexton, tht and clarkson facilitating, none is above average decision maker with the ball, turnover prone and selfish guards, they are starting just because they tanking, markannen and kessler are good piece to keep, the rest can go!
He is simply benefitted from not being with Trae. Trae is already suffering from not having Collins on the floor with him and it shows. The Hawks continue to be a poverty franchise, but at least they are still better than the T-wolves and the Kings on that end 😂.
