Ignore the other commenters, Gabrielle is an extremely talented musician. I first saw her supporting John Mayer at the O2 arena a few years ago and she blew me away. This interview was really interesting.
I love her, but I do think that she talks about her artistically part of her job only. Not only in this interview. She never talks about the business part. It seems that everything she does and thinks is right and workable. I'm sure it is not so. She never talk about how she runs her label, how she manages the artistically decisions in terms of profits. It's a hobby, but it's a job too. Artist like Aurora, in documentaries, talks about the difficulties about managing the ideas in terms of making it profiterable. Loreena McKennitt, who runs her company record and is the most famous singer of world music, says always the her carrier is 15% music and 85% managing her business. I never heard Gabrielle talking in this terms, in managing terms. Everything she thinks and does is right and profiterable. bah....
She's good at what she does, you could loosely call her an artist but you can only barely call her a musician Where some people really don't like her, they're probably serious musicians that are analysing the quality of her music and it honestly is lacking from the perspective of anything beyond intermediate As for being good at what she does, she's earned the position she's in fair and square But hey; I don't hear much better out there, so...

I don't know what their issue is...
+Twottington Berbage just incredibly narrow minded people I guess. artists have a lot to say
She's so perfect oh my God I could watch this video all day long just to hear her talking.
If you don't know Gabrielle don't comment on her! If you don't like her, fine that's you're opinion.
We love you Gabrielle ♥
wish she was more known
I think she's very sincere and even pragmatic. For an hyper-talented Artist like her that is rare.

An interviewer with the vocabulary of a cooked pastie.
"and like, cos, like, like I mean like, actually, literally, kind of like."
Bad!
