  • This video is a short edit of The Invincible Martial Art, a 1990 demonstration tape that shows the fundamentals of Mano Mano, a Filipino martial art. It features wonderfully cheesy late 80's / early 90's production, unintentional comedy, some sweet looking dudes, and a ton of awesome martial arts. The original video is 40 minutes long and I will provide a link to the full upload at a later date.
This video is not meant to to denigrate Mano Mano or the late Grandmaster Ernesto Presas. Both are deserving of deep respect. If you would like to learn more about Grandmaster Presas or these fighting styles, I have provided some links below.

Very enjoyable to watch Filipino Martial Arts. I love it. No need guns to hurt the opponents.

My humble instructor was attacked by 3 non practitioners with bolos driven by anger without any hesitation rushed to my mentor and chased him striking indefinitely here and there, but, the latter had the proper practice of sequence and got one controlled taking from him his bolo and all defense he manage to sent all three with serious injuries having only a cut in his palm by taking away their arms. That is why it is not recommended to challenge a martial artist with years of experience 4th degree belt of Sikaran, black belt in Judo and years of Arnis training.

I'll work on getting the full version on my channel soon. A lot of people have asked for it and I'd love to provide the unedited version.

Nothing beats old Filipino martial arts. I'm just glad we don't have to wear those uniforms.

I don't know what the specific genre of this music would be but theres a lot of synthwave out there that is similar to this.

@@SolarCityVideo similar but not exact, many people these days are just making stuff up on their own. Some of it sounds ok but I want the real McCoy, or as close to it as I can possibly get!

Of the many impressive Filipino martial arts I've seen.......this isn't one of them
This is almost as bad as that Vee Arnis Jitsu Te crap

True. These counters only possible when student leads strike with his hand and not with the weapon.
And when student leaves hand frozen in air, over extended, waiting for teacher to apply choreography.
But reality is that attacker with weapon leads with the blade, not with the hand/wrist, and retracts the hand quickly as a boxer's jab.
