ignore me while i spout my fangirling over Nico if you think about it, this song is VERY fitting for Nico is particular. Because he was born during WW2 and he was /technically/ involved in it because of allied bombers flying over cities in Italy; threatening bombing Nico's home town. And then he was put in the lotus hotel, which cut him off until Percy and Annabeth found him and Bianca. Then Nico was involved in another war, this time against Kronos. Then he was pushed into yet ANOTHER war. The one against Gaea. And if you'd consider it, the latest * war * against Nero. But the point of my rambling is that every time there was a war he was present to be a part of (this excludes his and Bianca's time in the Lotus hotel because they were pretty much not in the same flow of time as the rest of the world; this takes into consideration the discussion between Percy and Bianca when Bianca tells Percy that there was no way Bianca and Nico had been in the hotel for 70 years) Nico was a part of it. no matter if his part was influential to the war the war turned out, or not, Nico was a part of it. ok. ramble over. i love this. that is the summary of my thoughts.
