Jackal gives the team a visual ping when he tracks someone, and he can follow their footprints. If Dokk could only call one person, all you get is a sound que (which is good information, but isnt nearly as actionable as having the visual ping) on a single person.
Thats the polarity between them, Jackal gives better, more exact tracking, while Dokkeabi gives more widespread crowd control
That's cool, but another strong strat that Jackal can do is yellow ping the default cam on Chalet so Lion can destroy it with his Gonne-6.
Dokkebi is so much better, with a good pair of headphones the sound ques can be almost as good as an actual ping, and you get them for everyone, they also tell you if you’re planting, if someone is close enough to contest it. Very helpful, jackal is just a peat
Kapkan main , can confirm , as soon as i equipped the varsity gaming charm (which you can get by subning for free with twitch prime) the amount of kapkan trap kills i got skyrocketed
But your ability to shoot the default cam on chalet with the gonne-6 goes way down once the charm is equipped

If Dokkie could only call one person at a time, she might call someone who's away from every attacker or too deep into site before a push and, bam, the call was useless cause nobody heard it or could do anything about it.

Having Dokk only call one person at a time should be easy enough to implement too since they already have the system for Deimos to select which op he's calling. The only place I see that running into issues is that with Jackal, you know that the person you're scanning is going to be relatively nearby because they were in your exact spot within a specific amount of time. If they made Dokk only callone person at a time, you might end up calling someone on the other side of the map and wasting it, so if they switched to this system they would probably end up increasing the number of calls Dokk can make to 3 or 4
There's also the camera aspect. Calling just one person is pointless because it's worse than a jackal scan in terms of telling you where the enemy is, and it would be worse because only one person has to potentially get off cams.

That dokk nerf would make her absolutely useless shed just be a worse version of jackal (pings instead of calls and whole team sees it) and deimos (constant direct ping directly on the person and has a very good gun)
Dude. Dokkebis purpose of calling isnt just to make noise, its to block cams. Thats why jackal gets a ping and she only gets a vibration noise.

Honestly dont see the issue with Doki's calls. I feel like she shouldnt immediately get access to every cam from one phone. At least 2 phones for additional cams outside defaults unless you hack a specific operator's phone. Hack Valk's phone first? Get access to her cams. Same with Maestro and Echo. Bulletproofs are also tied to the op that placed it. Adds a reason to hack multiple phones, makes her less oppressive, and doesn't ruin her viability against roamers. On top of this, specific ops that are designed for roaming can turn off phones faster, and camera ops have a shorter call time so they can get back to their cams faster.

Hey variety question. Is Goyo sill a good operator? I’ve been using him as a roamer with Kapcan and playing my Gas later in the round to force movement in other areas and win easier gun fights

@@mattyice139he’s a very strong operator. His gadget has the potential to deny attackers from pushing in for a theoretical time of 1 min 20 seconds. Plus he’s got a pretty decent loadout. I’ve been using him more over Mira recently

That is not the only reason Jackal is good, he literally can still track people when when his ability runs out and both of his primarys are very strong and he has amazing secondaries weapons as well and he even gets claymores. If you truly believe Dokkeabi is OP just because of her gadget then that is not a valid reason to ban her, her weapons are trash and she gets smokes and flashbangs

I got it years ago back in Y3 or so, but it's cute how he comes up with new ways to plug it 😏. Tbh I don't even run it any more I prefer the Outbreak or Containment charms theme wise. Deadly Omen's BP ones aren't terrible either imo
