I can't think of a better place for Dead Can Dance to perform than Prague, with its architecture and history. Atmosphere suits such wonderfully Gothick music! Not to mention such a fine rendition of one of their best and most unforgettable pieces of music!

When I was a gothy kid, and first heard Dead Can Dance, I made SEVERAL jokes that Brendan sounded like a lounge singer (think... Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, et al..) who just invaded a gothy band. I stand by that remark, but his voice is so much better than the lounge singers. But I could almost see him with a cigar in his hand and wearing a tuxedo, grinning at the audience, with a casual "whoo, I can sing!" kinda attitude. ;) Geez this guy's voice is golden. For the record, I sing things like "Heart and Soul" at work in that style, but I'll always keep trying to hit his notes and sing his stuff. Because you have to try to be the best, and this is the best you gotta beat.
