Apparently they work by the one you plug in the wall actually sends like a radio frequency through the wires and that hand unit just scans for that radio frequency. And it finds it it beeps
My breaker tester is plugging in a lamp and having my woman or son yell down when the light goes off . A fancier version would be to call them on the phone so they dont have to yell. If it's a quick fix and I'm lazy I'll just shut the whole main breaker off and be done with it
This tool is fantastic!
That's worth having

Klein, mine has NEVER failed me
I have both, Milwaukee and Klein
Are they exactly the same?
@ - I like Milwaukee better
Can you expand on the differences please?
$59 is a steal compared to the fluke

I get it. I just got sick of resetting blocks and alarms. This is so much easier. Plus, when dealing with rentals, the tool saves a ton of time.
