It's a real love story from day one...
In a love story two people get to know each other, have something in common other than kids. He said he loved her without going on a date with her or having coffee or anything. The writers and showrunner does'nt have a clue about this show going backward is not it we have already done this with Jack it's not letting your Teacher and Mountie look good to the viewers not respectful no marols.Writers get a clue.

@@Adelaide1946 Elizabeth really tried to love Lucas, but she couldn't give her all her heart to him and she discovered this in season 10, Nathan was always in her heart but fear prevented her from seeing that, now finally Elizabeth will face this fear and overcome
Elizabeth gave her whole heart to Lucas ' you do'nt say I love you that many times looking into his eyes and not mean it. You do'nt bring someone into your sons life and be a part of a family and not be in love and who wants to come behind another man that have been seen all over town with this woman being in a small town not saying much for him either. These writers messed up a great love story hope they can recover. IJS@@bbsok590

If you can’t see the blossoming love between N&E it’s beautiful sharing their love It will be N& E because they love each other. E realized she didn’t love Lucas . I hope you find some peace with this story but it’s been pretty well stated that there will be no E &Ln I hope they find a lovely lady for Lucas
After watching I can fall in love again the emotions and chemistry are beautiful This is a beautiful soft s romantic and beautiful romance is moving in such a loving way I don’t wait for a kiss ! Their relationship is growing daily

I guess this is because he is a Mountie the book is based on a Mountie and Aunt Elizabeth they need to give him a syoryline as a Mountie and not lusting after Elizabeth
It still bugs me that Elizabeth went to Union City with Lucas that way. It was inappropriate and it felt dishonest because Lucas definitely pushed for it to be a date. I did not like the way he kept pushing her.
I'm so glad that Elizabeth finally conquered her fear and that Nathan was so patient and gentle waiting for her! 💛

I was rather surprised that they had her, a school teacher, and Lucas go off together for an overnight trip, considering the social norms at the time. And the whole town knew about it! Lol!

The slow burn is going a little slow. Last week the 19 th of May the show dragged. You need some excitement to keep things going. I love this show but I think you're dragging it too much. Nathan and Elizabeth have a connection I haven't seen since Jack left. Lucas didn't the connection but they always had a kiss. In the story Nathan never got the chance even though the look in their eyes was there. He was always there for her. In her true feelings she was running away from them. Lucas was the safe love but you can't run away from true love She admitted that when they met at that spot when Nathan finally told her he loved her. She should have realized who she really loved then. In real life this is what happens. She loved Lucas but it was him that she wasn't in love with. I saw that all along. I watched the show from the beginning and Jack was slow showing his feelings kind of how Nathan has done. This is a great family show and I love it. You had a little more action in the beginning of the show. Let Nathan have his time at true love. Love the scene when she tells Nathan about the head school jerk that caused her and other women problems. Thanks for the good show and I hope none of the characters leave.

Since Season 10, I've been upset & disappointed with this show. It just didn't make sense for Elizabeth to break her engagement to Lucas after 2+ years of a beautiful relationship. I finally decided that I have to look at WCTH ending with Season 9 & the proposal. For me, Season 11 will be 'A New Beginning in Hope Valley'. I need to see what happens to Lucas & the rest of HV, but have no desire to watch Elizabeth & Nathan. If they originally wanted them to be together, it should have been done in the beginning instead of dividing the fans & hurting so many. If the storylines don't improve & make better sense, I'm afraid I'll no longer be watching. 😢
They make plenty of sense. For 2 years the show was a hot mess. LS brought it back to where it should have been to start with. No more over the top drama and Elizabeth is going back to the woman we loved in seasons 1-7.
@@jamielf8690Everyone has their own opinion & it's obvious we don't agree. The love story between Elizabeth & Lucas was fantastic & IMO, there'll never be another that can match or be better than that was. LS wanted to take the show back to the Teacher/Mountie storyline, we get that, but it could have been done in a believable way. Season 10 was a 'hot mess' ending with Elizabeth looking like a cheater, a liar & untrustworthy women who needs serious counseling with Pastor Joseph. And for Nathan, Elizabeth makes him look like a pouty, awkward, puppy following her around.
@@sharonnorton2708 lol..... yeah ok. The hot mess was seasons 8 and 9. Too overly dramatic writing for this show. You're right about one thing they should have had her choose Nathan from the start, but again that was also JT's hot mess too.
@@jamielf8690 Well, enjoy Season 11. I won't be watching scenes with Elizabeth & Nathan...just not ready for that yet. I hope the storylines for Lucas & everyone else in HV get better than they've been, otherwise I'll stop watching. Season 10 completely ruined the show for me.😢
I'm team Lucas all the way the Teacher and the Mountie is fine but you can't go back that died with Jack Hope Valley has to have a Mountie but they don't have to be a love interest the writers and showrunner can do better I hope write something believable. The love story between Lucas and Elizabeth would have been great you can be Governer and married and stay in Hope Valley and still be a family you work it out.@@sharonnorton2708
