Should use steel bracketing (or make it a steeper pitch) on the sliding roof, making it open A frame, so that you can slide it over the permanently roofed area.
There is L flashing on the warm room roof that seal against the rolling roof when closed. Additionally, the rolling roof should overlap the warm room roof by 6" to 12"

Is there a sealant of sorts to prevent rain from entering where the two roof's meet?
