I was filming my male classmate at that right moment she entered and captured his hilarious expression -- wide eyes, jaw dropped, completely breaking character. I don’t think every girl needs a quince if the don’t want one. I had mine 2 years ago and I don’t have good memories of it. I almost passed out during my photo shoot because I hadn’t eaten or drunk anything the whole day and I had a weird medical scare during my sisters quince when I was 5. I despise parties anyways and I feel so insecure in dresses. The entire party I just sat at a table and took 200 photos with relatives I’ve never met before. I never wanted one but it’s “tradition” and I couldn’t just not have one. I think it was a waste of money that could have been used someplace else.

In Mexico you just need to go to any mall on a friday and you'll see like 5 quinceañeras walking around in their giant dresses and a squad of 10 friends following her, it's wild

I had a pink quinceañera dress & I went to Jack n a box & got free food for everyone in my court because the manager said I looked exactly liked her daughter 😂 also went to galleria mall & had to leave quickly because little girls wanted pics w me 😅❤️ very fond memories.

Having little kids see you as a princess is one of the most heartwarming things. I had a really bright and beautiful fairy costume I wore to the renfest 2 years ago and so many kids were amazed by me! I saw a girl point at me and ask her dad if she could come sit next to me, she ran right over and was so excited, she thought I was beautiful 🥺🥺🥺

My friends little sister saw a girl in a blue dress for her quince and they were taking photos at a garden. She went up to her because she thought she was princess Jasmine and needed a photo with her! It was adorable.
I love these types of shoots. The look on everyone’s faces when they see this beautiful young lady for the first time in what loos like a wedding dress but it is not. She’s stepping into womanhood. It’s a beautiful thing. I’ve seen dads, uncles, grandpas, cousins and brothers cry. These are this young lady’s padre o papa, tíos, abuelos, primos, y hermanos. They are usually all in tears when they see her. It always makes me smile.
Awww this reminds me of my photo shoot- my photographer got really inspired after the mass and we went to a large public park in my city- I had to hike with my dress down so many stairs but everyone was so nice and taking pictures- unfortunately a stick went through in between the last 2 hoops of my hoop petticoat and my cousin pulled out a pocket knife out of nowhere (I still have no idea if he was just casually carrying it in church💀) and ripped them out. My feet were killing me once we got to the picture spot and then had to go back up the stairs. We were running late to my party but then my photographer's car broke down and my cousin's left to get some things for the car- got McDonald's for everyone and we got to my party like almost 2 hours late lmao!! Even though I personally didn’t want a quince no matter how much my family begged for it, I really like that others do end up enjoying one of their own. This girl’s smile is really happy and pretty that she could even be an actual princess and it seems like she will have the greatest day of her life in that quince :)
I told my little cousin it was a princess and she was in amazement when we saw a bride taking pictures in a park. The bride even waved, smiled, and bowed 😅
This was me and my quince court at the mall tho 😭we wanted to destress and hangout at the mall for a bit while we waited for the banda to set up their stuff in the salon so we went to the mall for a bit and a lot of people just stopped walking and looked in awe at my dress and this little girl walked up with her gma and mom and said it was the most beautiful dress she has seen it was super wholesome 😄

I had a pink quinceañera dress & I went to Jack n a box & got free food for everyone in my court because the manager said I looked exactly liked her daughter 😂 also went to galleria mall & had to leave quickly because little girls wanted pics w me 😅❤️ very fond memories.

Having little kids see you as a princess is one of the most heartwarming things. I had a really bright and beautiful fairy costume I wore to the renfest 2 years ago and so many kids were amazed by me! I saw a girl point at me and ask her dad if she could come sit next to me, she ran right over and was so excited, she thought I was beautiful 🥺🥺🥺

I love these types of shoots. The look on everyone’s faces when they see this beautiful young lady for the first time in what loos like a wedding dress but it is not. She’s stepping into womanhood. It’s a beautiful thing. I’ve seen dads, uncles, grandpas, cousins and brothers cry. These are this young lady’s padre o papa, tíos, abuelos, primos, y hermanos. They are usually all in tears when they see her. It always makes me smile.

Awww this reminds me of my photo shoot- my photographer got really inspired after the mass and we went to a large public park in my city- I had to hike with my dress down so many stairs but everyone was so nice and taking pictures- unfortunately a stick went through in between the last 2 hoops of my hoop petticoat and my cousin pulled out a pocket knife out of nowhere (I still have no idea if he was just casually carrying it in church💀) and ripped them out. My feet were killing me once we got to the picture spot and then had to go back up the stairs. We were running late to my party but then my photographer's car broke down and my cousin's left to get some things for the car- got McDonald's for everyone and we got to my party like almost 2 hours late lmao!! I hope your photo shoot went smoothly!!!

Even though I personally didn’t want a quince no matter how much my family begged for it, I really like that others do end up enjoying one of their own. This girl’s smile is really happy and pretty that she could even be an actual princess and it seems like she will have the greatest day of her life in that quince :)

This was me and my quince court at the mall tho 😭we wanted to destress and hangout at the mall for a bit while we waited for the banda to set up their stuff in the salon so we went to the mall for a bit and a lot of people just stopped walking and looked in awe at my dress and this little girl walked up with her gma and mom and said it was the most beautiful dress she has seen it was super wholesome 😄
