In stardust crusaders, jotaro was dead (pretending to be dead but in polnareef's perspective he was dead) everyone was dead but instead of running away polnareef pierced his rappier inside Dio's skull. Ofcourse dio recovered but polnareef was only stardust crusader apart from jotaro to actually wound dio. He gets straight A's for the effort !!!
Polnareff is my favorite JoBro. He fought one of the most powerful stand in SDC (Cream) and actually won thanks to Iggy. Continued to serve the Joestars after Part 3 and eventually became physically and emotionally broken. The last thing on his mind before dying was the 50 days he spent with the rest of the SDC gang. He is underrated in my opinion, he deserves a lot of honor ಥ╭╮ಥ

sister is brutally used and killed, best friend avdol dies twice, pet dog iggy dies, kakyoin dies, loses both legs and one arm and is crippled for life after a near death situation with diavolo, dies, forced to become a turtle, loses his stand, still smiles
For a side character, Polnareff goes through immense development. He goes from a careless and easygoing youngster who is controlled by emotion to a quiet, thoughtful man who bears the heavy wounds life had given him. What a tragic life.
yeah, bro was a goofy ahh dumbass that is very easy going. then in part 5 he becomes very serious and more smarter than before. it's sad to see him like this, jotaro still has his love ones and isn't too far from his part 3 self, while polnareff was just tragic.
Polnareff experienced the death of his sister, had 3 of this good friends die, had his legs broken and forced to be bound to a wheelchair, lost his stand, and become a turtle damn this man needs a break
It makes a lol of sense, how he went from the jobro that didn't take most things seriously and joked around now became serious and sensible. After all he went through, he must still be feeling guilty that maybe he could've changed things.

I can’t believe how this is literally one of *THE MOST UNDERRATED THEMES* in JoJos that I didn’t even know this was Polnareff’s Theme, it’s literally a mix of Ken and Kakyoin’s Theme. I’ve only started listening to it more often now and has become one of my Most Favourites.

It might be because it makes silver chariot extremely vulnerable and the cockiest we've seen was when he wasn't truly himself. So it stands to reason that he doesn't use it because he later realized that he can be easily countered. And considering polnareff and kakyoin were former assassins it probably means the rest of the assassins were made aware of their stand power since they were the only ones who needed to be physically controlled and polnareff would rather keep the armour on because it's impervious to stand attacks and doesn't transfer damage to the user.
Polnareff borrowed Kakyoin’s Theme so many times in Part 3 since he only had a Theme for his Comedic Personality instead of a Heroic Theme, you can hear a part of Kakyoin’s Theme in his New, Fitting and Deserving Theme which expresses his Determination, Chivalry, Experience, and sense of Justice 0:45
Actually it’s not kakyoin’s theme, only the stardust crusader leitmotif as they all have this melody. It sounds like the same because the instruments are similar.
Polnareff is like a true knight he fought till the death, he lost almost all of his friends, he didnt ran away at the middle of the war,he didnt care how powerfull the enemy was.True soldier.
