video of a majestic take off of the world's biggest commercial passenger jet with the rich agricultural fields below as a backdrop. Captures some of the wonder and privilege of flying. Looking forward to more!
I had just flown on the same route in first class 2 days ago on A6-EUL. Sat in 4A so I can see the engines. Oddly though aircraft was completely full. Hope you had an enjoyable flight.
I did have a nice flight, although it wasn't as nice as when I did the same route in first class too. :) Have you seen my first class trip report on the same route?
Paul Stewart EXTRA Hahah seems like I’m not the only one! Yay. I was a little sad though when they hardly played the Emirates boarding music. Only for 6 seconds during boarding then they switched it to something else, and they played nothing after landing I know First worlds problems 🙄
I think I can now tell the difference between the Trent 900 and the GP7200. The Rolls Royce produces a more 'roar'- making sound, while the GP makes a mix between the whistle and roar.
Great video, it's always nice to see something from your own city/airport I know this comment is late but I have watched this video many times it never gets old:)

Smooth and so quiet. Great views of NZ country side. Look forward to the video and commentary of the flight when you upload it. Thank you Mr Stewart.
Always amazed at how quiet the A380 is. Brilliant footage and I can’t wait to see the trip report.
It's an amazing aircraft! :)
Outstanding!!
Ahh the green fields of Christchurch. Reminds me so much of the UK! The A380 is a quiet bird even on takeoff.
Very true actually!
Excellent views. Hope the main video comes out soon. Love ya
Glad you enjoyed it!

Quick question. How did you pay for it? Always wanted to fly first class on Emirates but never have the money

Paul Stewart EXTRA ofcourse I have like 4 times!! Because of how excited I was whilst booking the flight and wanting to see what I’d expect 🤷🏼♂️
haha I do the same thing! I'll watch every JAL F video on youtube prior to my flight in March! :-D

@@paulstewart2ndchannel shure,it was super.
that is the most unexciting takeoff noise lol, great video anyway!
hahah it's true! Nothing beats the spool up of a GE90!
@@PaulStewartAviation I know right, and thanks so much for the reply! :)
Great video 👍 ✈️
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Beautiful NZ..
Agreed!
I was so disappointed when Emirates stopped flying the A380 from Brisbane to Auckland. Looks like a trip to Christchurch needs to be planned 😄😄
Yep it's a pity! While CHC is nice to visit, the airport itself is only average and the lounge in AKL is much better.
Kinda bit sad that EA GP7000 has stop selling the A380 engines back in 2017 since EK switched to the latest RR Trent 900
