It was nice in the afternoon but it's now a bit too cool to have the windows open. Regional department stores that were around for over 100 years gone, 27 airlines down to 6, traditions that were cherished gone. Worldwide governments have become more corrupt than could ever have imagined. Christian values our countries were founded on have been tossed. People dress like slobs and have no concern for their fellow man or national pride. Give them their phones, tablets and social media and they are happy. So sad.

It was 1997 when I heard this iconic song for the first time. Now the most popular girl in the whole word sampled it in one fo her songs. This masterpiece will never die.
This song. I was 14 years old and we went with a department of our school to the Ardennen in Belgium for a fieldtrip for a few days. On the last day we went to a small bar with a dancefloor on top of a hill. When this song came on, and especially at the 2.00 minute mark of the song everybody went crazy on the dancefloor. I wish we realized at that time how precious this moment would be; a moment in our life without worries, work, bills and stress..while we were young, careless, having fun and having the time of our lives. What a beautiful time to remember. Time flies people...
This song brings back so many memories from my small hometown and childhood friends. 99 was my first year in high school and this song was iconic. When I hear it all those memories come back like a dream.
It was 15 years or more when I lost my dad and 40 days later had my husband also very sick at the int. care. Endless nights in the car, returning from hospital, was listening to this melody, Crying silently and crossing the highways. This song was my courage to life and I made it. We made it and got a great family with kids and love and everything we asked for! Just kiss me and am strong!

god damn.... this was my one of the all nighter song when i was working. As an old man, every time i listen to this song brings me back my nostalgic memories. What the hell is going on with this country with these young punks messing around with everything. USA used to be such a romantic country.... I miss the good old days..... god damn...
When I was 6 my grandpa picked me up from school and this song played in the car. He gave me a hard time and said ‘don’t you ever kiss boys! Don’t ever get married!’ I was so embarrassed but I always treasured my time with him. He died a little over a year later of cancer at the age of 47. I’m 26 now and when this song comes on the radio all the time I can’t help but cry with this memory. Every time I feel lonely and defeated I hear this song! He’s speaking to me and here I am a single mom, never married and the thought of any relationship now scares me. Crazy how certain things come full circle in our lives in weird, lyrical ways..
I’m 29 and I love this song it reminds me of my mother, she use to play it all the time in the house I miss her!! I don’t see her that often as I should but I love her with all my heart
I love this song so much. It might be because of memories. Or the song just has a happy romantic vibe without being too overdramatic. She just wants you in her life, damn it.
One thing these classic songs prove is you will never find the hateful attacks people subject each other to, because we are all just too busy vibing and missing our chill childhood.
I used to secretly love this song when I was in my early teens (secretly cause it was too girly) and now when I'm 35 I finally started learning to play the guitar and it makes me so happy to be able to play it and just enjoy it:)

Yeah. Some of the best decades for music 70,80, and 90’s.
It's just so sweet and innocent. No hate, no meanness, nothing bad.
OMG THIS!
once this came on in the supermarket and i locked eyes with this girl. we’re now married
this was my first ever boyfriends and mine 'song', still get chills when I listen years later
this song was playing at my job the other day and now i just think of my crush lol :/
How romantic , but no one asked you really 🤷🏻♀️🙄

“ Kiss me , beneath the Milky TWILIGHT “ is always the most romantic and iconic line 🩵✨
Yea, then we got the “french boy got me trippin” version 🤮
Guitar strumming, accordian playing, sweet vocal singing and the earths aligning for this iconic 90s tune thats become not only a favourite but an all time classic.
This is my first time listening to the original song. I was watching Kiss Me (Kill Me) and wanted to hear the original just to see how similar the two were. Still gave me shivers, I was waiting for the song to turn suddenly, but nothing.
Same
Yeah, it's spooky how despite the song being completely upbeat, it has a looming fear of turning dark after having watched Kiss me (Kill me).
-Also here from watching that of course.
Yes! I keep seeing people say they came from Lisa, but your the first to come from kiss me (Kill me) like I did!
Lisa.. bring me recovered a great song of 90's❤
❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Lyrics :
Kiss me, out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, (swing, swing) swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress
Oh, kiss me, beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me
Kiss me, (kiss me) down by the broken tree house
Swing me, (swing me) upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, (bring, bring) bring your flowered hat
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map
Oh, kiss me, beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me
Kiss me, beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me
So kiss me
So kiss me
So kiss me
one of the best movies too.

Beautiful song!
That look and that voice does it for me. Oh god she’s gorgeous
A sweet voice.
100% agree!!! She's an Angel!!
1:58 my favourite part. And who is still listening this masterpiece:)
My favorite song in junior high school. I learned English from your songs. It still touches my heart. Thank you, Lisa, for making a sweet love song that keeps coming back to my heart.
This version is a trash. Lisa’s Moonlight floor is better. Listen to it now.
@@marcelinekeydon't try to be stupid hater Lily never do promote Lisa this way 🤷🏼♀️
@@marcelinekey bruh,as a blink,no just no the original has it's place cemented as iconic and Lisa's version has it's own place...besides it was just released. So don't be like this and tarnish this artist...this is the original.(Also,I don't know what happened to you that makes you want to leave a negative influence but I hope that you get better in the future!!)
The Lisa team basically chopped up the original, gave it a new title and tried to promote it as a different song in 2024. Cringe.

Yes
This song will never get old 2023 and I'm still loving this song
Bro I'm right here with you.

Learning this song on guitar has been an extremely blessing journey
thank you
My wife plays this in the car in front of the kids for a good laugh. I cry every time this song is played
this reminds me of the good old times when I was little and me and my mom would just be together spending nights at a local wendy being happy together. now on Sunday will be my first birthday without her being here to see me turn 19 for the rest of my life.... i still miss you mom its been almost 8 months since you have passed and ill never forget those good times this song brings me back I hope your smiling with me thank you for everything
They're never gonna stop playing 90's songs on the radio, that's how timeless music those days were.
Wife and I had this as our first dance at our wedding last week. Had a rumba choreographed and was so happy. Always enjoyed this song.
it's illegal an iconic song has so less views. Who don't know this song?
This is when we had good music and MTV was worth waking up at 5 am to watch music videos before school and watching TRL at 3pm.
"So kiss me, 💪". Huh!!!? 😊
I suddenly thought of this song, and here to watch it. My childhood memories! This song brings so much nostalgia.
0:35 this part makes me nostalgic about my childhood😢
2024 nearly 2025,and 25 years old still an amazing song to this day, past, present and future. Beats ANY or MOST today's music.

This song is so beautifully wrought in the studio. Really tight, iconic use of instrumentation and feel. Real clean. So nice. That bass line after, "Kiss Me," it's just perfect.
The 90’s was the Last Great Decade💯😢🌹🙏🏼
😢😢😢😢😢
2000 were fire too
So true ...
😢😢😢 miss those times so much I want to be young again😢
Yep
A beautiful song sung by a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice!!
I know a guy who slept with her and said she was a lousy lay.
god damn.... this was my one of the all nighter song when i was working.
Don’t ever get married!’
I was so embarrassed but I always treasured my time with him.
My uncle died at 47 too It was Very hard for everyone because a few data later my grandpa died too.
Aww...you go girl. Keep smiling 😃
sa
You can kiss me anytime 😁
I’m 29 and I love this song it reminds me of my mother, she use to play it all the time in the house I miss her!! I don’t see her that often as I should but I love her with all my heart
Do a favor meet your mother. Might make her life less lonely
one of the prettiest songs out there
I still remember this song when it came out I was a young fella.90s had some awesome music and musicians
This song is a classic, it brings back horrors beyond explanation.
I love this song so much. It might be because of memories. Or the song just has a happy romantic vibe without being too overdramatic. She just wants you in her life, damn it.
I just love how young love and innocence is captured in such a perky song that can only make you giddy with butterflies.
Thanks Sixpence:)
Right on...
I was born 1991, and this song brings so many memories when I was 8, and I'm 29 going on 30 this April. The 90's rocked, and can not be beaten!
Hey me too!! I’m turning 30 this April !
And this song makes me wanna go back to the 90s
Cute, romantic, fun song.
It was wonderful when I first heard it
and it hasn't lost anything at all in the years since.
Absolutely one of the greatest songs of the 90s. Oh, hell, of all time.
I graduated high school 2013 and still remember this song playing in homecoming and prom lmao, glad to lived in the late 90s-early 2000s
This is one of those songs that gets stuck in your head and you just can't remember.
