Hi teachers , you are doing great I barely in the middle of the season and I'm planning like to finish it by the end of this week to start the season two, keep going great job I'm happy to find you , it's very difficult to find a way of learning and practicing your English skills thank you so much
Thank you for this class. Unfortunately, I´m not to able to speak very speed at the exact moment of the practice in the class. But I´ll try more and more as well. Thank you again today I learned a lot of new words and expressions in English. I´m proud of myself.
Thanks so much for your feedback! You should be proud - this is a very advanced dialogue! If repeating the lines at the same speed feels too fast, you can also simply try to focus on hearing every individual word of the dialogue. Once you get familiar with the contractions and blended sounds, you start to notice them in other places, and hopefully you can start to understand native-speed English conversations first time!
Thanks to teacher that i can share this channel to learning more english . 😀 I like your pronunciation, explain and so much kindly . I will keep going to watch channel.
Hi! We tried to keep the review nice and short but they keep getting longer 😅 we’ll hopefully have more videos coming soon with new words and vocabulary
Hello Teachers 👋👋👋 I have been learning English for 10 months Yesterday I found your TH-cam channel. So far I have listened as well as watched your 4-5 videos. It's worthwhile to do so. Because you are making an effort to teach learners pronunciation, British accent and American accent. Explanations given by both of you are monumentally great. Keep going forward !!! Don't be tired of teaching us English 💪💪💪
Thanks so much for your kind words! We're really glad you found us and enjoyed studying with us! We will definitely keep going with our current formats - people seem to really love them!
Hi dear, Thank you indeed for both of you Mark and Kat for demonstrating pronunciation, and a bit of cultural ideas that I've caught from your guy's videos. Super tutorials that are self-learning as I possibly hit it in shortly.
This channel is worth it for me. That's why I signed up today. Especially, one of the teachers who always laughs or smiles makes me happy to watch. Thank you for the fantastic conversation both of you.
good morning; i'm from Morrocco.I alwways fellow your english lessons which are very interesting. yet, what about if you allow us a littel time to repeat after you the main sentenses you give us; question of PRACTICE
We're really glad you enjoyed the video! We experimented with longer pauses in the past, but we found its better for students to pause the video on TH-cam and give yourself time to repeat until you feel comfortable.
Thank you for a good episode... I have a question In the sentence my youngest is in 3rd... (you used in) but in sentence my oldest is at the primary... (used at) I wanna know why? Whats the difference? Thanks again
Good question! The prepositions change with the object. - [in] grades and years She's [in 3rd grade]. He's [in Year 6] They are both [in the same grade] at school. - [at] primary school / secondary school She's [at primary school]. They are [at secondary school] together. I hope that makes sense!
@highlevellistening we use in when we are speaking about specific thing like 3rd grade (not 4th) and we use at when its not specific thing like primary (it may be 3rd or any other grades) Is that correct?
It really just depends on the word. We'll always say: in [x] grade We'll always say: at [x] school. Sometimes there is a logic that can follow, but there are also lots and lots of exceptions! So our advice would be to just remember the combinations!
Boa noite, bom eu vou falar poucas palavras,se alguém quiser aprender inglês esses dois professores ensinam muito bem, acompanhe eles, depois fala se estou mentindo.
Hello dears, could you please help me to solve this question - Which word DOES NOT match the sentence: "Why don't you believe me? I never....lies" A) Tell B) say C) speak D)use Thank you very much❤
To Tell lies means saying something that is not true, this is the most commonly used To say lies is to pronounce the word lies To use lies is to tell lies as a tool Speak lies feels a little old fashioned
It can be difficult when you're not used to it yes. Hopefully these videos show how the words in phrases get "squashed" together and make those tricky sounds.
Is it necessary to speak like American accent or British accent to make Americans and Britishers understand. I mean, will they understand if we speak international English. I think our need is only to understand both Americans and Britishers when they speak in their respective accents. Need we speak like Americans and Britishers.
I think in both countries you will find that people can’t always understand someone with a different accent, it takes a moment to listen to another person and understand their accent, so you could choose whichever accent you prefer or a mix of both ☺️
Thanks for watching! You're right though, British accents can be hard to understand because British people use a lot of contractions to "squash" the words together! It's still good practice for your listening skills though - we hope the more you watch, the more you can understand!
Hello, Thank you for the video.😍 I'm happy to meet you. I started listening this season from last week. Now I'm here at Review2. I'll keep going listening. Anyway, I have some questions. 1.Can I say like " I'm going to 'binge read' the comic books this weekend.📚" ? 2. Kat said 'the oldest'. What's different 'eldest'? Is this British English?
That's great, thanks for studying with us! Good questions too: 1.) We only really say "binge eat" / "binge watch". If you're talking about a book series (like Harry Potter) and you read all of them in a row very fast, you could say: "I DEVOURED the entire series." or "I READ THROUGH the whole Harry Potter series". 2.) My oldest son - My eldest son are the same thing. They are used in the US and UK, so you can choose which one you prefer! Hope that makes sense!
Great teachers, keep going
Thanks very much for being with us!

I have a question. If I can understand those videos very well, it is because my level is B1-B2.???
Hello! If you can understand the dialogues without the captions, then you are quite likely to be on the upper side of B2!
Oh... Mmm I can understand but I can understand better with subtitle, 😢 could be a B1? I need a B2 if I want to continuos in My job

Which word DOES NOT match the sentence:

To use lies is to tell lies as a tool
Speak lies feels a little old fashioned

I can repeat after kat coz my tongue is stiff 😢
It gets easier and easier, after a bit of practice take a break and come back to it later, speaking practice is always the hardest 💕
Can you teach me the phonics and phontics of American language
