Since she was summoned, she was looking for a way to return home, so it is NOT just 2 years, its more like 5+ years of working for something, without social/emotional support, and fiding yourself stuck with no hope in sight.
It’s also important to note her perspective on where she is stuck. To her, she’s not just stuck in another world. She doesn’t even acknowledge this world and the people in it as real. She doesn’t care about this world or the people in it, so she’s stuck in a “fake” world with “fake” people which is even more of a nightmare.

In hindsight using multiple layers to cross connect is so obvious but not so when you don’t know to think that way. Sometimes it takes an outsider who’s not locked into the same thinking to suggest things.
The ending of this chapter was performed by Nanahoshi's seiyuu, Shion Wakayama. In the novel, she sings "Gandhara", which is the ending theme of the Japanese television series "Monkey Magic", as well as other songs from old anime. While in the anime, the song she performs is "Tsubasa" by the band Undergraph, a song that we see Nanahoshi humming in episode 9 of the second season. Whether by chance or not, Shion Wakayama, the same Seiyuu who voices Nanahoshi, performs the song "Gandhara" in the anime "Her Blue Sky."

I don’t think they cut that much though and the volume was short enough for them to fit it into these 3 episodes pretty comfortably. They did a good job. I’ve been worried about how they were going to adapt my favorite part which is the little Norn arc. I hope they nail it because her relationship with Rudy is so meaningful

1:13 I'm pretty sure only some of the Japanese voice actors and script writers can understand what's written there because that's not a real language it's one of the 3 made up languages of Mushoku Tensei that they made seemingly "complete" versions of. If I remember some people even managed to decipher some of the things written in one of the written letters shown in the show and it was pretty much what the subtitles said.
The voice actors actually have full dictionaries of Mushoku tensei languages made for their study by the author so they can speak it without sounding like they're making stuff up.
Human Tongue is Basque with the consonants reversed, and the written language is the Latin alphabet with different characters. So yeah, with a few guides, one can easily read that letter.

you should start the LN from the very beginning if you haven't planned on it yet. LOTS of POVs, inner monologues, details, exposition, etc. have been left out of the anime. Even the Steven Seagal reference.
I felt so bad for her in this moment this and the follow up appearance of her was soul crushing they did amazingly at showing that her failures are mentally destroying her and It saddens me to think that if Rudy wasn't close to hear her, she would've most likely killed herself without hesitation... all a question of programming, really. The bottle came forth as a random item, since Nanahoshi wanted to summon a single simple inanimate item of uniform material. It might as well have been an iron ingot. But the core concept of summoning from Earth has been proven. The way she approaches this is less as magic and more like cutting-edge technology using phenomena that can be harnessed. She just needs to add complexity and features to the basic idea.

Cramming all of it into one would just make the circle short out since there's always issues with connecting everything, even if one doesn't make mistakes in making the circle itself. It also allows variability, since you can swap out layers.
It's so screwed up how they decided to start the season with mega-spoiling opening and ending but then put character song and post-credits cliffhanger instead of ending that should be skipped. And I sure wish that song had subtitles after the episode dedicated to that character. In fact, it did... in Asian non-CR release.

Yea the one who lived in rudy's house is kind of a big deal, he/she is one of the key to the future development. althought this will come in much more later in the series, althought u can see the emblem on the book they found in the basement similiar emblem for the 7major great power style emblem they show in season 1.
Ruijerd and Sylphy haven't met, and I don't know what she may have been told about him. Sylphy _might_ be triggered a little because she was bullied because she had the hair color of a Superd and had been brought up (like others) to fear them.

you should start the LN from the very beginning if you haven't planned on it yet. LOTS of POVs, inner monologues, details, exposition, etc. have been left out of the anime. Even the Steven Seagal reference.

I felt so bad for her in this moment this and the follow up appearance of her was soul crushing they did amazingly at showing that her failures are mentally destroying her and It saddens me to think that if Rudy wasn't close to hear her, she would've most likely killed herself without hesitation... That fact that she desperately wants to go back to her world but simply can't and she hasn't found happiness the same way Rudy has it really takes a toll

"How they are going to reverse summon?" instead I would ask how would they make sure the reverse summon work out well? send a living creature then resummon it and see if it's still alive? hmmm then how do you make sure it was sent at the right and safe place/world if there are any other world?
all a question of programming, really. The bottle came forth as a random item, since Nanahoshi wanted to summon a single simple inanimate item of uniform material. It might as well have been an iron ingot. But the core concept of summoning from Earth has been proven.
The way she approaches this is less as magic and more like cutting-edge technology using phenomena that can be harnessed. She just needs to add complexity and features to the basic idea.
@@Tounushi so it's more like how you write a function/formula that can gives the output that you desired? I guess the problem she's facing in this episode is like how to implementing the bits of basic formulas into one big equation which leads to them layering the magic circles instead of jamming it into one
@@shrimpp866 Yeah, layering allows one to offload functions into separate circles whose output can be used in other circles. Cramming all of it into one would just make the circle short out since there's always issues with connecting everything, even if one doesn't make mistakes in making the circle itself.
It also allows variability, since you can swap out layers.

It's so screwed up how they decided to start the season with mega-spoiling opening and ending but then put character song and post-credits cliffhanger instead of ending that should be skipped. And I sure wish that song had subtitles after the episode dedicated to that character. In fact, it did... in Asian non-CR release.
