Seriously though, why have you not played Isle of Cats? J/K, we are over-saturated as hobby gamers. Isle of Cats is a thing of beauty, though. Just make sure to have some good ukulele music.
The Dodo World Championships were such a fun way to start the day at the Expo. Wish the PED testing had been more stringent, but such is the way with these new sports. Subbed to the channel and hope to see you again next year for more fun and frivolity.

Would have loved to have seen it. That's the one part we simply didn't get a chance to film this year, the play test area. We had a few friends showing their new game to the public, too. It's amazing the level of creativity you see
We had a fab time, first time we attended with our two boys aged 10 and 8. I queued 40 mins to go into bring and buy, I brought 4 games cacao, watergate, Glen more and mysterium. Cant wait for next year
What were your highlights of our trip to the UKGE? Did Angela specific games pique you're intests.. We have had a request for more of these style of out and about videos, so making one at the moment On holiday. They're slightly trickier to make but seem popular ?
@@BoxedMeeples I just really liked the way you made me feel as if I was there. Being from the US I may never get to go to the UKGE but it does make me determined to find an expo closer to home. I am a born shopper so I think my favorite is the used bargain shopping and Zatu mystery boxes. I appreciate all the tips you give on what to expect. I really like meeting the designers and hearing how a game works from the person who created it. I love hearing about the new games coming out (Hamlet on the lake especially). I just really enjoyed all watching these videos. Unfortunately I couldn’t watch them sooner because I was out of town and didn’t have access. I have a few more to watch to catch up! Thanks for all your hard work in putting these together!!🥰

@@BoxedMeeples Hamlet was interesting,I played it at Gridcon and it was ok,but definitely grown on me....was nice to see lots of different aspects of the NEC...
@micjames9352 we were so lucky to talk to the designer of Hamlet. Must back that when the expansion lands on Kickstarter. We did try to cover as much as we could but the expo is just so huge and only on for three days!
@@BoxedMeeples I got taught it by Nick Shaw the designer of the solo game....only issue I had with it was the iconography size....should have come with a magnifying glass 🤣. Saw you both at Uncon last year...pity it won't be coming back...😢

Oh absolutely. Thematically Appropriate music (and food and drink) is essential when playing any boardgame

We came home with a few new games. Marvel United, Micro Macro, Ready Set Bet, Flamecraft and Klask.
