my friend server only have IE in it(for machinery) so this whole tutorial really helps me a lot. I am more of the enderIO and Thermal Expansion guys but IE is sure fun with those conveyor and heavy big machine. I've been watching your tutorial on IE playlist every week and loving it. It is clear and informative. I'm slowly building my base and planning to make assembler and metal press next and looking forward to see how it goes with my creativity. This tutorial is still legit even in 2019
When the assembler makes consecutive recipes, does it balance the materials? E.g. if the first recipe makes steel rods and the second steel fences, will it maximise the number of fences made?
Great job on the series so far! I watched all of them yesterday so I could learn the mod! I've got to tell you, I really like how you do your mod spotlights. You go way more in depth and show practical uses unlike other spotlights I've watched that basically say here's the mod, here's the blocks, now go figure out how to apply this to your game without any kind of practical ideas. Are you going to do an episode on the Arc Furnace? That's what's holding me up right now :( I figured out a lot of it, but there are a couple pieces I just can't get. And maybe for a finale on this series you could show us a couple of ways in which all the machines work together? Something like how you would use this mod if you were actually playing it. Thanks again! I really do appreciate all your hard work! I've also now subscribed and recommended your videos to the people I'm currently playing with on a hermit pack server!! WAY TO GO!!! YAYAYA! :)
Might be a silly question but how do you automatically have it so stuff gets placed onto the conveyor belts? I don't want to have to keep manually placing the ingots and i don't want a noisy dropper to do that. I also cannot seem to remove my mold from the machine regardless of where i click (shift click too) on the machine, so i have to destroy it to remove the cast.
I put some iron into the press using a 2x2 packer, and got a trapdoor, but when I try unpacking the trapdoor, it just sits on the conveyor belt as an item, not actually on the belt itself moving. I might be dumb, but is anyone else having this problem?

so i'm having trouble with my assembler it will craft some thing and not other, and they seem to be rather random as well, like it can turn logs into planks just fine, modded or other wise, yet it cant for the life of it make say a chest from those planks, it can make treated wood tho, but not use those in anything. Any idea whats going on or am i just doing somthing wrong, like wrong machine or somthing
This is where the mod unfortunately fell flat for me. It produces nothing i cannot already, costs a lot of power to run, and requires the same materials. You could argue it's faster, but unless you're turning every iron ore into revolver bits or something it ultimately doesn't do that either, you still have to count and load the resources deliberately, configure the assemblers, and make sure material routs correctly. I can already make plates, rods, bands etc in bulk with shift click. It sure looks nice though.
I remember using the assembler to build the flans mod v8 engines Flint n steel +4 iron = engine piston 4 engine piston + 2 ingots = v4 motor 2 v4 motor = v8 motor
Thanks for putting these together! Looking forward to the next ones!
+ThePreceptorTeeth You're welcome. It's a fun mod. :)

Great mod, great tutorial.
Keep up the great work!
Basically, the way the recipes work, you get enough components to make 2 complete presses, aside from needing another piston.
Well vanilla pistons are cheap.

Sneak right click the mold with an empty hand to remove the mold. A hopper will deposit items on a conveyor in most cases.
Mischief of Mice Shift right click with another mold to switch the two seems. to work for me.
Where do you get plate before making metal press?
+김태완 Hammer plus ingot in crafing grid
What our big boss Vallen said.

I think this thread is stupid
@Ronan Ohara I don’t think that saying something is stupid is hate
how do you get an electrum ingot????? i cant find it anywhere
In an alloy kiln put gold and silver.
Can somebody explain to me why I can't use the assembler to load bullets to a speedloader???
so i'm having trouble with my assembler it will craft some thing and not other, and they seem to be rather random as well, like it can turn logs into planks just fine, modded or other wise, yet it cant for the life of it make say a chest from those planks, it can make treated wood tho, but not use those in anything. Not sure of your setup but it could be another mod, configs, or even a bug.
mm well maybe its the mod pack its in?
my lv wires wont connect for some reason, anyone know the fix?
I can use the crafter to make a completely automated cake factory!
What mod do you use to read the RF?
The One Probe
how do you add EU or RF to them?
y thus the 1st thing not work,i instaled the mod and it thusent work
alright, I have absolutely no idea how to get Electrum, can anyone help me?
Silver + Gold in an Alloy furnace
@@MischiefofMice Thanks Mate
The metal post office.
Lol. I thought this actually was gonna show me how to make an "actual" metal press.
yeah, because there isnt specified its minecraft in the title, right?
to save yall resources and time, use the engineers workbench to make components
What actually assembler is useful for , we can craft ourselves right..?
it's made for automation so you can make automated factory and it can craft 3 things at the same time so it's way faster
mine will not change when i have placed every ting ass you show
My press doesn't accept any ingots: when i drop them, it won't press.
Is there power and did you drop enough ingots?
you do know that you could out the output of an assembler into another one, and so on.
i did it the way the book said the way your said and even opposite and the stupid conveyers just rotate

I just go with RF/T
/gamerule doDaylightCycle false

nice
No vine por esto pero igual vi el video mientras resolvia el problema yo jajaja
Can you speaking Chinese language? Because I like your video very much, but I don't understand English.
:( 字幕?
@@MischiefofMice Yes, or you can speaking.
Nice video, but you get sidetracked too much. I was skipping ahead a lot. Doesn't mean it is not appreciated. Just saying.
you smart
Where’s my comments you guys come on
Right where you left them?

im pretty certain i did everything right but it wont make any other plates different from steel plates anyone know why?
