I like your "hello world" examples! Helps me get basic overview of cloud/GCP concepts!
Cloud - provision, start and connect to a VM
Container - deploy a docker image to an orchestrator
Serverless - write code that triggers upon something without state

Are the Google App Engine and the Kubernetes Engine the same thing (I reckon they shouldn't be) but the link below the video reference to the same page ... Kubernetes engine. Great video and great series tho. :)

They are not the same. GKE expects containers as workloads whereas App Engine is source-based. Note that we've since added Cloud Run. Get out the "Serverless" episode!
I'll try to get the link fixed, thanks for reporting this.

How can you speak about functions and K8S without a word about the awesome Cloud Run ?

Hey Guillaume, fair point! An overview of Serverless Compute options is coming up shortly and will feature Cloud Run. Thanks for the comment, Cloud Run is indeed awesome.

"simply describe the compute, memory, and storage resources your application containers require, and K8s Engine will provision and manage the underlying cloud resources" while this is awesome functionality and it has enormous value, the term "simply" probably doesn't belong here. While this is *relatively* simple in comparison to provisioning physical servers or VMs, it's still not simple.
