I purchased mine 6 months ago. The sound quality is so good. The design is my main reason buying it. No clutter buttons, portable and easy to connect to external device.
Thank you, Jones! You have done a number of reviews on the Ct-S1 and glad that you did. Now I'm completely decided to buy Ct-S1 once it becomes available in my area. Thanks for the valuable info. Great channel
Been following for a long while and I still stand with my previous statement: your channel is seriously underrated, I see a big future for you my good sir.
If this is the Casio ct-s1…. I just bought it as well and LOVE it. It’s gonna allow me to do something I’ve been wanting to do for a while which is play outside!
im basically new to keyboard/piano and ive been looking at a lot of beginners options in the space, the ct-s1 seems to me like it could be described as a good beginners digital piano. its interesting to see the subtle or even unknown to those that haven't investigated differences between things referred to as "acoustic pianos", "digital pianos", "keyboards", "synths", and etc. namely key action ( which I had zero clue was even a point of comparison a week ago ) and the [instrument's] response to said dimensions of player input. wildly interesting
Sorry I’m just seeing this. The CT-S1 is more of a digital piano. It foes not have the bells and whistles of an arranger keyboard. The key action is semi weighted… but it’s the best you can buy in its price range. If you are comparing, the Yamaha PSR series has an arranger keyboard that compares well in its price range.
@@oljones31 Thanks for taking the time to get back to me; And I think its a great point of comparison you mentioned, (psr-e473 for example) It looks like another amazing value entry in the playing field. I think the simplicity of and lean toward digital piano in the ct-s1 i think very much put it in line with what I had imagined would be a good starting point for an absolute novice such as myself. I liked your review, you really described it from every angle, made many points other channels hadn't mentioned, and were totally honest about it.

Casio is seriously improving their Keyboards for low Budget ones👍
Lets support them❤⚡

Worth upgrading from ct-x700. I do like having splits so ive strings to left and piano to right
@@alexuswhite3097 I would not replace to ct-x with it. That’s a more arranger focused keyboard. The CT-S1 is not.
Unbelieveable, we can play VL-1 in this S1 , in modern way 😲👍👍👍 i love this CASIO
@@MarkBurdick-o3s it has an awesome sound card.

Thanks for your review, can't wait to receive my CT-S1 :)
how is it
Love your videos. I'm gonna go buy one right now, and play something on it :)

getting mine tomorrow! just wanna use it as a midi controller for producing and also learning my favorite songs as a beginner piano player
It’s perfect for that. Learning the basics. The feel of the keys make it an awesome midi controller. Good luck.
Thanks. Good job.

@@oljones31 Welcome Sir
I’m looking for equipment that would hook to my keyboard?
hey bro, i bought this keyboard but is 61 keys enough? for most songs? like pop
For Pop songs it is. Basic progressions. For more advanced Jazz and classical, I prefer 88 hammer action keys.
