In 1968 I could receive this transmission on my TV at home in St Austell, Cornwall if there was high pressure weather about. It brings back memories of hazy summer days watching Channel Report and Oscar the Puffin, Brilliant music too. What we used to call DXing in the old 405 line VHF days. Many thanks for putting this up.
I like the way that the location of the transmitter is given. They all have such evocative names don't they. Harblepoint Down or Llanlockrey Point or Watership Moor or something.
I have the original discs of the “tomorrow the world” & “victorious achievement “ as well as the original Picasso cards of Fremont Point, Channel Television and a test card D With Fremont Point Ch. 9 as well as all other ITA Picasso Transmitter slides

3:57. This is Channel Television, broadcasting on the Fremont Point transmitter of the Independent Television Authority.

would "test card D" have been different from cards bearing other letters?.
Do you have any more recordings of Channel Television mainly from around CITV please?
