Hi Jennifer, I get so excited when you post a new video with a special technique. I've been watching you for the past 4 years, never sent you note but, this prompted a one. The cards you make and have made, especially this one are just lovely, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to let you know how much you influence my cardmaking.. And I can't wait to try to make them for my senior neighbors. We make cards for birthdays & Christmas as well as all other occasions for all the 95+ seniors in The Village, it's a fun hobby for my friend & I have, we have been doing it for many years (just because we enjoy the process). Again, thank you for so much all you do, and please don't stop! lol
Thank you for the kind words! ❤️ It's always fun to make cards, and even more fun to give them away! And please feel free to comment as much as you like! 😀
Jennifer, you are so very talented. The ideas, techniques and inspiration just spill from you. I can't thank you enough for all your videos. I think I save almost every one of them!
Great ideas for using the hot foil plates. Beautiful cards. You 'long' videos go by quickly (time flies when you enjoy something). Thank you for these great ideas.
This video opens up more ways, to use these dies. I don't have a hot foil system, so I really like these tips Jennifer. Thank you so much for sharing. Your cards..... So full of gorgeous details. Beautiful arrangements and colors..... I'm a fan!! Oh, I had to come back here to tell you.... L❤️VE that bird.
Hi Jennifer, WOW, those are brilliant ideas, you have such a great mind to think of these ideas, you are truly one of the best card maker out there!!, TFS, all the best, Cheers Anna.
You have done it again -- taking a seemingly one-dimensional product and turning it into a multi-faceted creation. Thank you, Jennifer, for letting us in on your genius and, oh, how I appreciate your explanation of how things work.
Fabulous cards. I’ve been very impressed with the current SB memberships and I decided to rejoin and I’m glad I did. May have to add another to my monthly deliveries. Love the techniques and so appreciate the ability to expand the use of our supplies. Thanks.
Thank you so much for sharing what to do without a foiling machine. I am visiting my daughter and don’t have all my supplies but I think I can do this since I just purchased a foil plate and I brought along my Big Shot to use with my grandkids. You are the best !
You just continue to amaze me! I don't know how you think of these different ways to use products but I'm glad you do. All the cards were gorgeous and you are so talented. 😍
Kuddos to your transcription service. They get punctuation! Makes a wonderful difference when using closed captioning. Thank you, Jennifer, for going the extra step.
So beautiful Jennifer! I haven't invested in a foil machine or foil plates yet so I appreciate your knowledge on using what I have. Thank you! I love your talent!
Thank you so much for showing us another way to use glimmer plates. I have some, but not a foiling machine, because the Spellbinders total package is such a good deal.
So many FABULOUS cards and techniques. I’ll have to watch this video a few more times to soak it all in. I LOVE all the floral die cuts you created, but pairing them with that adorable typewriter was unexpected and genius! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. You are TRULY APPRECIATED! 💖
Wow Jennifer, I am so glad you did this tutorial. Totally amazing and not long at all. This came at just the right time. I literally just bought a Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Machine and some of the foil plates that you demo’d. I am so excited to have a go now after seeing what you have shown. I loved all the cards in the tutorial, but my favourites would have to be the lemon zest. Thank you, Thank you for an amazing tutorial. This is going to be a favourite of mine for sure. Safe safe and all the best. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow... that video was packed with yummy tips. I love you and Spellbinders... so this was an extra treat. Your cards are stunning... of course! Thank you... you're amazing!
Wow, what a great video Jennifer! These techniques truly did produce “works of art!” Thank you for all the great tips on using glimmer plates in alternative ways!
Finally replaced my CuttleBug with a Platinum 6 so that I could eventually invest in the Glimmer. But it’s not *just* the investment of the Glimmer, but also alllllll of the plates to go with it. So it’s taking me a while to justify the expense. This is such a great video to help with justifying it in the long-run, now knowing that you can use them plain, with foil, or with ink! So clever! (If you hear any screams in the background, that’s my angry bank account 🤑)
Hello Jennifer 👋. I have bought a couple of foil plates by mistake and this technique is great for me. Maybe later I consider buying the foil machine. Thank you so much. Now I get some usage of those foil plates that I spent $$ on.😉
I'm so happy to see how you used the skinny stripe glimmer plate WITHOUT the hot foil machine. I don't have one of those machines but I really love the look of those stripes and wondered if I could do something like that. Yay! so happy to see I can!
What a great way to use hot foil plates. I've just cleared my kitchen table now I'm going to be back to having dinner on my lap again as I'll be having a play with this. Thank you for the great things you show us how to do.
Love these ideas! I have a hot foil machine but have struggled using it. I think foiling is not for me. However I love the look so today I am going to try the embossing powder and the letterpress techniques you showed to see if that gets me the look I want without so much struggle. Thanks to your detailed explainations I am also understanding why the foil machine is not working as I had planned. I make very detailed watercolor paintings and I wanted the foil sentiment across the top. Well watercolor paper is very think and bumpy so that is never going to get a good impression. Lightbulb moment! I will look thru some of my word dies and see if I can do the sentiment with those, using smooth paper, then add it over the top.
Wonderful video! Because of your videos I am a member of Spellbinder's Monthlly kit club and I love it! Their designs are so versital and useful. I can't wait for my February kit to arrive so I can put it to good use. Thank you for the terrific ideas!
Thankyou Jennifer, another wonderful video full of inspiration. I was wondering if you would do a video teaching your gem placement. I think I remember you touching on this before, but you have so many videos...

First of all I’m so happy to see all of these techniques and cards! And this months kits from Spellbinders is absolutely incredible!!! I think I’ll be getting a few extra( that stripe one is fabulous) and making, as my grandson calls them, friend cards! ( he thinks you and Gina are my personal friends…🥰) You and Gina are his favorites!
I love this idea off making impression with the hot foil plates. Would you be able to share the plate sandwich for the Gemini Junior? I have been using the plates you recommended for preventing warping so I have try to find the correct sandwich with those plates for making impression with a die/stencil/hot foil plate. Thank you!!!!!
There are a number of places that sell beautiful colored envelopes. Simon Says Stamp, Gina K Designs and and Taylored Expressions have matching cardstock.
Thank you so much for all that you share with us! These are beautiful and so creative! I was wondering if you could share what the clear envelope is that you have the dies in?
Maybe I missed it but did you say what card stock you were using? Thank you for testing out all of the different options and sharing them! Your examples are lovely.
As always, Jennifer, your video is FABulous!! You truly inspire me!! But can you tell me what cardstock you used that had such beautiful graduated hues? (peach and blue are stunning).
Jennifer, thanks so much for sharing your techniques. I never get tired of watching you and I learn something every time. Hugs

Thank you, Jennifer, for another great video. I received a glimmer machine for Christmas, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet.
Thank you Jennifer
Beautiful card idea! Great Additional ideas/uses of my new hot foil plates. What color cardstock works for you when hot foiling?
There really is no particular color that works best. If you want white the Hammermill cardstock is very smooth and works well
There are a number of places that sell beautiful colored envelopes. Simon Says Stamp, Gina K Designs and and Taylored Expressions have matching cardstock.
Those lemons and flowers :D 🥰
Thank you so much for all that you share with us! These are beautiful and so creative! I was wondering if you could share what the clear envelope is that you have the dies in?
I like these a lot www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Simon-Says-Stamp-CLEAR-POCKETS-Storage-5-60466?currency=USD&sscid=21k6_4e3hz&ShareASale&
I think this is what I used in the video.... Memorex(R) Cd Dvd Keepers
Maybe I missed it but did you say what card stock you were using? Thank you for testing out all of the different options and sharing them! Your examples are lovely.
You always have so many cool techniques to share! You have helped me improve my card making. Thank you!

Loved this video. I don't have a hot foil machine, but I accidentally brought some word plates. Now I can use them!
Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing this has certainly given me ideas. A definite video to keep for reference. X
As always, Jennifer, your video is FABulous!! You truly inspire me!! But can you tell me what cardstock you used that had such beautiful graduated hues? (peach and blue are stunning).

catching the replay!
Great tip about adding ink to paper that is not quite the right color ( like the lemons). This happens to me all the time!
