Im truly blessed by your video. I am also called and have saw things in the spirit for years but not really understanding the call of a Seer. Ive been called a Prophet and have prohesied, but just this last year it has been different, the visions, dreams and things I see in the spirit at Church, make me feel like im crazy at times. I feel the direction and can hear what God want to do and exactly what you said I grew angry because I didnt see the Church responding to what God was saying. I did want to retreat and not go back..so I cried out to God and said if this is you drop in the Pastor spirit that I have a message and if you dont want it to come from me, fine, just drop the message in his spirit. All week I cried out (I feel alone at times) and the 4th day the Pastor of the church got in touch with me and just asked, "What is the Spirit of God saying to the Church. My mouth dropped. I couldn't believe it...At times,i still feel alone, I have visons, dreams and hear God...I just pray I can meet others like us....Thanks again for your much needed video, Please post more..I will be praying for your financial stability and your media ministry to expand.

Thank you for the video. I have been growing in this office and the Lord has been teaching me a lot of things through intimacy with Him. This video was very insightful. Ever since I had an encounter with God and He spoke audibly about His light in my eyes, I have had many dreams, visions and my spirit has been taken up a lot in recent times. It has all happened in just one year, and it is so amazing. It is a fun adventure and I am always learning.

Well, thanks for listening. I guess it could get kind of long, but about 5 years ago I was really struggling and we had went over some scripture about Gideon about asking for signs. I know that we shouldn't live by signs but more by faith, but sometimes it can be nice to have one. What happened was is that I asked God to send an angel or someone to my door in the middle of the night and if he did then I would do something. I normally don't ask for signs the only reason I did is because of the bible study we had that night, so I did not come up with this on my own, or it wasn't done out of my own ambition. Anyway some did come in the middle of the night, they came knocking on my door and they wanted some money. Some say it was coincidence but it's hard for me to believe that because no one has ever come in the middle of the night and knocked on my door. To make a long story short I believed that was God giving me the go ahead. And to make an even longer story short I ended up in jail because the thing was is that I was fond of a lady and she had a restraining order on me and I felt like God wanted me to marry her. Any way I don't know her anymore and now.... well as you can imagine I have know idea when God is talking to me or his spirit is trying to guide. I don't know left from right and if I think the Spirit is trying to guide I question more if it's myself going crazy again. I was hoping to talk to a seer that is what led up to this. I am just really broken hearted after all these years and hurting inside. I am grateful how God has blessed me now but there are some deep rooted confusion and pain inside after all that. During that year in jail I fasted and prayed, alot and didn't seem to get anywhere. I don't know how to hear from God. I have read the bible multiple times. I go to church. I feel like I can't do anything more.

I had a dream last year that stemmed from me chasing my purpose and in my dream a voice spoke to me and said you're a seer. That was one of the only times I ever heard that word. Once I looked it up I understood. I have a tendency to manifest situations and things as well as see ahead or feel future moods and events. I often become bitter and jealous towards people with good jobs and nice homes because I've struggled financially most of my life and had to work for everything by painting houses and roofing, drywall, remodeling ect...
John; Very interesting dream. :) It is easy to feel that we face extreme difficulty financially - so did Jesus. And Paul. And Elijah... So many of the great men of God were far from wealthy - but they were rich in their gift(s). Our culture does not appreciate our gifts as they should - but in the light of eternity if we use our gifts wisely, not only we but our families will be eternally grateful that we used our gifts well and wisely. I forgot to mention I was in a church about 6 years ago and it was about 90 mins away from home. I had a man who never met me before and the church I had never been too before evangelical Christian church and the guy told me he had a vision of me speaking to thousands of people. I even asked had he ever told anyone else anything like that before and everyone who knew him said no he had never acted that way before. Very exciting stuff I believe is tied to end times and warning mankind not to take the mark of the beast but I dont know for sure but thats one feeling I always had since I was young.
I'm freaking out! I'm crying! You just described me in so many ways. I am having a hard time and getting frustrated and angry because all these churches God sends me to don't believe in this gift and I am so misunderstood and not heard when I give counsel on spiritual issues in these churches. One even said when I visited that I could not go in! Or I feel they get upset when I do what God leads and not what they feel or suggest I should do. Wow plus I never thought of the sensitive to the spirit could also be a weapon against me but I so see what you just said! I know this message is for more than me, but God just rocked my world with what He spoke through you. God Bless!
+Ben Marshall Ben; Greetings. Well, I think we perhaps have some common experiences. Firstly, we must always find and hold to humility; like Jesus, '...when reviled, (He) reviled not...' I am amazed at the times we find ourselves in though; our times call for a fullness of the Spirit, prophecy and discernment and yet the seeing eye seems almost scorned in many, so many churches I have been in. Thank you. I've been called a seer prophet by some, and other things too harsh to share! I had a visitation from the Lord Jesus and have been being taught by Him as warranted on this journey. A question for anyone... Does anyone else see the principalities in the sky? I only engage them when the Lord instructs, and it's phenomenal! I had confirmation from apostles and people for my calling .but the lord impressed me and my prophetic calling and lord usea me a seeing visions and dreams and my spirit . lord told me that his calling for mu life as seer/ prophet . i hope i am not boastfull and being pridefull for my calling. My calling has been confirmed through other prophets for my call as a seer / prophet. Lord told me to not let any ministrers or pastors or prophet or apostle tell his calling for my life as an evanhelist and do not tell anyone s calling and office unlesss they have the fruit of the spirit. Jonniemae; Yes indeed. For churches that only practice half of the Bible, it is hard to see them have very much of God. It is hard enough when we search the Word and do ALL that we know. :) May God richly bless and lead you! :)
Every time i close my eyes i used to see things, like: places, or people ddoing things, and some times when i look at people silently i would know their issues, but i was so afraid that one day i rebuked the whole thing (i said if this is not from God i cast it in Jesus name), and since then not much has come, i feel fear i did quench the spirit, how would i know that all of that was from God?
Good question(s). The devil is not going to do anything that could be viewed as good; so if we sense someone is hurting - and are willing to pray for them that probably is NOT from the devil. I too have quenched the Spirit of God. I was in a church service once and felt a strong urge to give a message in tongues but I was fearful and did not fulfill the urging of the Holy Spirit. I asked God to forgive me for that (many times!) and the next time I felt God urging me to do something - I was VERY QUICK to obey! :) I would ask God's forgiveness and be honest with Him; explain your uncertainty and fear or pride or ignorance (just be honest and thorough) and be ready to move the next time God gives you a vision, a word or an opportunity. Seek counsel from others that you know are used by God if any are near you. If none are near you - just pray that God will make you a minister as he did the Apostles and the early church! I was touched by your sincerity and I do pray God enables you to get through whatever you're going through. One word of caution - the Bible is God's word and a reflection of who He is; however, the Bible is not God. The Pharisees knew the Bible thoroughly, but did not or would not recognize Him when they saw Him (Jesus) face to face. I see people treating the Bible like it is God Himself and they end up not open to all that God may want to do. And scripture says the Bible cannot contain all that Jesus did, that all the books in the world could not. So....the issue must not be that something cannot be of God if it's not in the Bible. The pertinent question is whether something is prohibited by the Bible. As a prophetic intercessor, I know speaking in tongues can be used in spiritual warfare, yet the Bible does not directly state that. Going out on a limb.... Aleister Crowley opened up portals to beckon in demonic spirits. If the wicked can do this, who's to say God might not train a Christian to close them? And portals are not discussed in the Bible either. Discernment and knowing the Holy Spirit can enable us to recognize whether a person is operating in God's anointing, led by His Spirit.
Grateful to God for what it sounds like He is doing in and through you. (My first time listening.) 9 (Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come, let us go to the seer,” for today's “prophet” was formerly called a seer.) (1 Samuel 9:9) It sounds, by this Scripture, that they are one and the same, just the name has changed, from seer to prophet. Grateful to God for giving us prophets. Very important for a sound foundation for the church, with Christ as the Cornerstone. And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” (Mark 6:4)
Very good thoughts, Ramzy. I read once, 'All seers are prophets, but not all prophets are seers'. I think there is something to that. Some are gifted with the ability to, in the Spirit, SEE things as they could be, or may be. Others are simply gifted with knowledge, but don't quite so clearly SEE through the eyes of the Spirit. This isn't spelled out in scripture, so I wouldn't say its Bible doctrine, but it seems to be the case as I've experienced various gifted people. @@JonathanMilam1 Thank you for sharing. I do believe that certain gifts may bring questions to our minds about what ministry or gift a person has, and maybe what authority. I do know that though someone has the gift of knowledge or gift of prophecy that it does not make that person a prophet. A prophet would have the gift of prophecy, but would operate in the office of a prophet. Also, all believers, unless they quench the Spirit can have dreams or visions. But if someone is a prophet God would speak to that person with His still small, louder, or booming voice, and would see what God wants Him to see. All the prophets are men, as can be seen after the cross, resurrection, and outpouring of the Holy Spirit. There were five prophets and teachers, of among them Saul and Barnabus, there was also Silas and Judas somewhere else in Acts, and also Agabas. Also, in 1 Corinthians 14, it could not be a woman, for she was not allowed to speak. I'm not saying you do not know this, but just narrows down how we identify prophets as prophets. They uncover things that are covered, as with the apostles, how they revealed that which was hidden in generations past, that the Gentiles were fellow heirs. Prophets bring clarity. Thank you for your time. I know it is so short. Our time is limited before the Lord's return for the end of all things is at hand, and for judgment. I have enjoyed this video; really feel I need the support because I don't get any support from those around me. I don't really talk about this to friends or neighbours, but I see through the 3rd eye on occasion. It is only when God wants me to really 'see' something, that he shows me. Can you answer a question for me. Are the pictures presented to me only those pictures that involve me, or is for someone else? Are they pictures of the future? I hope you can answer this......
Really, it is hard to tell what we are seeing. At times, we KNOW what we are seeing, at other times we may be seeing something that has yet to happen, or we see something for someone we may not yet know. As the Apostle Paul said, "Now we see through a glass darkly..." Even he, at times, seemed to be unsure of what he was seeing. Likewise, in the Book of Revelation, and sometimes the minor prophets as well, there are glimpses of things seen that they didn't seem to understand. One of the Old Testament prophets said something like, 'Who are these who fly in the air as birds?" He might have been seeing us in airplanes, but didn't know how to describe it. Anyway, when we have a vision of something we don't understand, this should compel us to pray and remain close to God, so that when the time is right we will understand how our vision or insight applies to a situation. I do hope this helps. :)
Jonniemae... This is the greatest challenge as believers in God. Job said, 'O, that I might find him...' As great as he was, in his darkest hour he could not find God. Isaiah said, 'Verily; thou art a God that hidest thyself...' Even for Isaiah, God seemed at times to hide. There is no answer for this, except to say 'We walk by faith and not by sight.' Your question is reasonable; and I hope that you may find God close by your side all the days of your life.
Melecia: Greetings. Thank you for your comment; although it is tragically saddening. The prophetic is dormant and unappreciated in SO many churches - it is sickening. If you can find others around you that are similarly gifted in the prophetic for home/private prayer meetings maybe something can begin to happen? At any rate - be encouraged. Adrian Lovingood It is dormant because if you see something you cannot tell the whole church because they dont understand..only a few do..but the majority think you are crazy and want attention, and think you think you are more special to God because you hear.
Jonathan Milam I need a mentor in the prophetic i have none...especially a seer mentor because i dont get words by impressions much...i see them with my eyes open and ti forms a story or a parable...i just dont have much mentor..even today i was telling the Lord...i need more understand in relating the visions.. how do i interpret them to the person i am giving.
Yahweh first Is not this walking in the spirit I really am not interested in having some title. Have been excused of being a seer. There seems to be continues prayer in something like this. I for one am glad that most of the time people don't know what I am doing not looking for a fallowing . Yahweh tells me I going to have one anyway and I will change my mind. I get so emotionally invested in people it's messy. At this time I am helping people.
John; this is indeed a special and challenging gift - very well said. I fear that a pastor such as yours diminishes the potential of the Holy Spirit in his congregation; very, very sad. Unfortunately, it is also very, very common. I believe the reason that Christianity has not won the world is because of the leadership. Phillip, in the book of Acts, had 7 daughters that prophesied? I wonder if their pastor was upset and felt he should do it all, and that God would only speak through him? Hm....
@@JonathanMilam1 my pastor is so knowledgeable of the Word. Greek breaks it down which is awesome but when it comes to the prophetic man he changes. Im just learning and came in contact with a person who wants to mentor me. Whwn im around them my gift manifests all around. Dreams, word of knowledge, ect. Um im trying to see how to word this. If the gift isnt being used should i leave and if when im around this brother the gift is stirred should i go to there church to grow in the gift ?
I can't (and won't) make a decision for you, but if I were in your shoes I would leave immediately. "Quench not the Spirit" is what the Apostle Paul said, and it appears to me that your pastor is definitely the type that quenches for control. However, pray to be sure and always move slowly and with sensitivity. The fact that a mentor may create a spark in you doesn't mean everything; 'try the spirits'. There are some churches that are heavy with gifts - and they are heavy with sin, too. Always be careful, don't exclude or cut people off from your life. Just be very sensitive and careful. It seems that the Lord may be opening gifts up in your life. Stay in the word and make sure everything is done scripturally. We want a perfect balance of word and spirit, or 'Spirit and Truth'. :)

Amen. Well said. I am a seer that has very prophetic dreams and the holy spirit speaks through me yet I am often overlooked by church leaders, ministers, and other so called men and women of God. Not just discredited, but ignored for the spiritual gifts and insights that are to be used for his glory and kingdom. Needless to say, the church hurt has been overwhelming.
I believe I understand your situation quite well. Most churches that I observe in the country where I live are run by managers - not ministers. They may be called ministers but they really aren't; they are managers. If you attend a church overseen by a manager they often don't understand, or are intimidated by, ministers - and a seer is a minister. So, at this time, in most places, the most needed commodity in the Kingdom of God, which is individuals that are adept at 'walking in the Spirit' (as Paul said) well....These gifted people are pretty much unwelcome. It's a tragedy but I've experienced it time and time again. Something needs to change and it's about time, isn't it?
wow, i do totally get it. i too over two decades have been sent places where the lord would show me his will for that place. he would show me whats wrong and whats right. who should sit and who should speak. just to mention a few of what it involves. to be able to function at a high level in this one must understand that the church hates this. why? rebellion. the kingdom of heaven is a kingdom of order, what you call a seer has recieved revelation from the lord of his order completely backed up by scripture and we instantly understand when its out of order. the fastest way to ruin this gift is to be out of order your self by creating a new office of the seer. there is no such thing, so be ware of this as there is a slim line between that gift being used by the lord or the enemy or self promotion. bottom line the prophetic office is to work in conjunction with the other 4 offices. operating independantly is out of order. every one operating in the prophetic office knows its about order, no predictions, any one sitting in the office of prophet knows the persecution is required as this is essential because no human being can relieve the load carried by the prophet, only spending time in the throne room resting on his chest hearing his heartbeat thus his will. its how it works. going into a church by request and providing a word of comfirmation of direction is not prophetic, but rather a word of wisdom from the throne to reaffirm direction. this provides comfort thus the knowing of being deeply loved thus the tears, tears of joy, humility, gratitude and peace. while its natural to have to grow into our office its important to not create things that are a whole rather than reconising its just a part. we must remain balanced again there is no office of a seer. the term seer is based in the occult and we must be very careful not to mix magic in to what is pure . there is a very dangerous trend to embrase the seer. its design is to ultimatly have this part of the prophetic office debunked. again there is no seer office its soley the prophetic office that involves much more than just seeing. to limit it there as the trend continues will continue to errode the true prophectic office in to scorcery. beware my friend
Not sure where the dislike of the seer is, but I'd check the Bible before I formulate any opinions, Ross. I Chron 21.9, "...Then the LORD spoke to Gad, David’s seer, saying..." Just know the Bible and agree with the Bible; that's all you need to do. If God was speaking to a seer, the seer was credible - God wasn't mistaken. So, God recognises a Seer, but you don't? Interesting. Must be some pretty bad instruction going around. I'll stick with God's word, Ross, and I'm not going into the occult, just sticking with what I've read and believe (the Bible). The Seer is one part of the Prophetic Ministry; every Seer is a Prophet, but not every Prophet is a Seer.
I am in a Baptist Church with my husband. I often feel spiritually stifled. I have prophetic dreams occasionally and want to warn people. My husband just says that it's demonic to see this or angels. He also discorages me from leading in any way. I have been invited to do so twice. My husband flat out says no way. You are a woman. Can a woman be a prophet or seer? I just want to be right with God.
You're in a difficult situation, one which will require patience...Lots of patience! :) Patience is a developed thing; God is probably working this in your life. A wise man once said, "You can choke a man by forcing too much steak into his mouth!" That's very true; even something lovely can cause someone to choke when it's too forcibly put to them. So, you probably won't want to say, "I had a dream and I see this..." Instead it may be better to just say, "I feel this..." and it may be less objectionable. Also, I think Rick Warren ( you can google him and the situation) was prophesied over (he's Baptist) by another great, very well known older Baptist minister... So gifts have worked amongst Baptist ministers who aren't overly enamored with gifts. While Paul did say, 'Let women keep silent in the church' we also read of Deborah in the Old Testament. I once heard a lady leading worshing in a church that had been asleep and suddenly the church came alive. I was so surprised I asked God, "What just happened??" and He responded to me, "She has the Spirit of Deborah". So, may that spirit, a spirit of power and giftedness rest strongly upon you. And may patience and wisdom enable your gifts to do great things! :)
@@JonathanMilam1 Thank you for the encouragement and blessing. This has been a 20 year journey and ,yes, an exersize in patience. Fortunately my husband has a lot of respect for Rick Warren. This is where I continually ask God for wisdom and discernment as to where to cast my pearls. I know that God would not place a gift in me to hide it in a closet forever. : ) Thank you again. I think people are loosely calling themselves seers/prophets nowadays, because they want to feel special, not because it's ordained by God. People who see dreams are prophetic, but aren't prophets. Every believer can prophesy, but only a handful of people are truly called to be a seer/prophet. A seer does not just have discernment (feeling), but they see into the spiritual realm; they see angels and demons with spiritual eyes. They can see auras; they can tell who is a believer, who isn't, and who is soulless. A seer/prophet is blameless; they live sinless lives. They have overcome the trials and tribulations that God has given them, as this gift is mighty. Christ does not give this gift to those who are immature; the tongue of the seer is cautious as they can curse anyone (believer or not), and whatever they say happens. They are hated by the world, and hated amongst believers. They don't just receive dreams, but also interpret them. They speak in tongues, but can also interpret tongues. The power bestowed on them is like Elijah, or Elisha; basically they have all gifts of the spirit on them, including healing, raising of the dead, and calling upon the elements of nature (earthquakes, storms, etc). If you have the gift of dreams, and nothing else..you aren't a prophet/seer. Those who seek the gift of the seer, check yourself first on why you want that..for fleshly desires, or to be truly used by God? If even one thought pertains to a fleshly desire in your heart..the gift will never be given. The life of a true seer (not a false one), is very lonely, depressing, heartbreaking, and the hardest life to live. You will be constantly attacked by demons (not just a few, but thousands). If you let your guard down just once, or step into sin, you'll be dealt with swiftly. If you want to experience the life of a seer (without the gifts), take 1 month of your life by living sinless. So praise God 24/7 by praying, singing in your heart, reading the bible. Block all temptations, resist all urges of fleshly pleasure. Your body, and spirit will be fasting from your sinful desires, and you'll soon realize why the gift of the seer/prophet is only given to a few.
Some very good, insightful points here - thank you for commenting. I don't believe that all prophets or seers see angels and/or demons; this is perhaps the highest level of 'the gift of discernment' and few, very few, have this sight into the spirit world. Many of those who have this sight become 'puffed up' and find their ego unchecked. Sinless is another area we need to be careful of...When we feel we are without sin, we have likely fallen to pride. The goal is to live above sin, but we are still attached to one of our greatest enemies - the flesh. Still, you bring several very good thoughts in your comment - thanks for posting here! :)
Great video, thank you for the insight. I recently learned what a Seer is, from a book I'm reading "Courts of Heaven- by Robert Henderson" great book. I've been a Christian 3 yrs and I still have a lot to learn, but I see myself growing everyday a little bit at a time in the wisdom of God's word and promises, all the Glory be to the Holy Trinity! I have a question about my brother. Not too long ago he started searching for God and I think he has prophetic and Seer abilities, but I'm not completely sure. He tells me he has dreams of archangels speaking to him with messages from God. But he also has dreams of the spirits of dead people speaking to him with messages that come to pass. He has seen and conversed with dead people in real life as well.. he's found out later they were dead. He reveals that as a child he's always seen things including flying saucers. I know this sounds outlandish. My question is are these signs or abilities of a Prophet, a Seer, or a psychic? and do you need to have Years of Christian education to become a Seer or Prophet? Great question. I've read this, and I agree; 'All Seer's are Prophet's, but not all Prophet's are Seer's'. A prophet may KNOW something is going to happen; perhaps it is a feeling that is given to him by the Holy Spirit, but a Seer might see a vision of an event happening... So, the Prophet might know - but the Seer might actually have a vision of an event happening.
Carmen, that's probably true. :) As Christians, we all may be shown things by the Lord, but that wouldn't make us all Seer's. If we consistently see things in the Spiritual realm, however, then we are probably operating in the office of the Seer. I think it's kind of a 'how often and who cosistent' kind of thing. For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. I think all seer's are prophets, but not all prophets are seer's. Check the Old Testament out; certain individuals were called "... Seer's...". Perhaps you disagree with the Bible? If so, we certainly won't agree. I'm a Bible guy. For further response, please use chapter and verse. I will as well.
There isn't a 'Gift' of Seer listed in the New Testament, although there is a 'Gift of Prophecy' listed in I Cor. 12 & 14. Still, if individuals are called Seers in the Bible, do you think they are no longer used by God? It's assumed fairly commonly that when an individual is used in a certain gift, his useage in that gift is called 'an office.' Call it 'ministry' or 'administration'' or 'office', but you won't convince me it isn't an active facet of prophecy today (but distinguishable from a speaking prophet), because the Old Testament distinguishes them as different.

Im truly blessed by your video. I am also called and have saw things in the spirit for years but not really understanding the call of a Seer. Ive been called a Prophet and have prohesied, but just this last year it has been different, the visions, dreams and things I see in the spirit at Church, make me feel like im crazy at times. I feel the direction and can hear what God want to do and exactly what you said I grew angry because I didnt see the Church responding to what God was saying. I did want to retreat and not go back..so I cried out to God and said if this is you drop in the Pastor spirit that I have a message and if you dont want it to come from me, fine, just drop the message in his spirit. All week I cried out (I feel alone at times) and the 4th day the Pastor of the church got in touch with me and just asked, "What is the Spirit of God saying to the Church. My mouth dropped. I couldn't believe it...At times,i still feel alone, I have visons, dreams and hear God...I just pray I can meet others like us....Thanks again for your much needed video, Please post more..I will be praying for your financial stability and your media ministry to expand.

Ever since I had an encounter with God and He spoke audibly about His light in my eyes, I have had many dreams, visions and my spirit has been taken up a lot in recent times. Well, thanks for listening. I guess it could get kind of long, but about 5 years ago I was really struggling and we had went over some scripture about Gideon about asking for signs. I know that we shouldn't live by signs but more by faith, but sometimes it can be nice to have one. What happened was is that I asked God to send an angel or someone to my door in the middle of the night and if he did then I would do something. I normally don't ask for signs the only reason I did is because of the bible study we had that night, so I did not come up with this on my own, or it wasn't done out of my own ambition. Anyway some did come in the middle of the night, they came knocking on my door and they wanted some money. Some say it was coincidence but it's hard for me to believe that because no one has ever come in the middle of the night and knocked on my door. To make a long story short I believed that was God giving me the go ahead. And to make an even longer story short I ended up in jail because the thing was is that I was fond of a lady and she had a restraining order on me and I felt like God wanted me to marry her. Any way I don't know her anymore and now.... well as you can imagine I have know idea when God is talking to me or his spirit is trying to guide. I don't know left from right and if I think the Spirit is trying to guide I question more if it's myself going crazy again. I was hoping to talk to a seer that is what led up to this. I am just really broken hearted after all these years and hurting inside. I am grateful how God has blessed me now but there are some deep rooted confusion and pain inside after all that. During that year in jail I fasted and prayed, alot and didn't seem to get anywhere. I don't know how to hear from God. I have read the bible multiple times. I go to church. I feel like I can't do anything more.

I had a dream last year that stemmed from me chasing my purpose and in my dream a voice spoke to me and said you're a seer. That was one of the only times I ever heard that word. Once I looked it up I understood. I have a tendency to manifest situations and things as well as see ahead or feel future moods and events. I often become bitter and jealous towards people with good jobs and nice homes because I've struggled financially most of my life and had to work for everything by painting houses and roofing, drywall, remodeling ect...
John; Very interesting dream. :) It is easy to feel that we face extreme difficulty financially - so did Jesus. And Paul. And Elijah... So many of the great men of God were far from wealthy - but they were rich in their gift(s). Our culture does not appreciate our gifts as they should - but in the light of eternity if we use our gifts wisely, not only we but our families will be eternally grateful that we used our gifts well and wisely. I forgot to mention I was in a church about 6 years ago and it was about 90 mins away from home. I had a man who never met me before and the church I had never been too before evangelical Christian church and the guy told me he had a vision of me speaking to thousands of people. I even asked had he ever told anyone else anything like that before and everyone who knew him said no he had never acted that way before. Very exciting stuff I believe is tied to end times and warning mankind not to take the mark of the beast but I dont know for sure but thats one feeling I always had since I was young.

I'm freaking out! I'm crying! You just described me in so many ways. I am having a hard time and getting frustrated and angry because all these churches God sends me to don't believe in this gift and I am so misunderstood and not heard when I give counsel on spiritual issues in these churches. One even said when I visited that I could not go in! Or I feel they get upset when I do what God leads and not what they feel or suggest I should do. Wow plus I never thought of the sensitive to the spirit could also be a weapon against me but I so see what you just said! I know this message is for more than me, but God just rocked my world with what He spoke through you. God Bless!

My calling has been confirmed through other prophets for my call as a seer / prophet. Lord told me to not let any ministrers or pastors or prophet or apostle tell his calling for my life as an evanhelist and do not tell anyone s calling and office unlesss they have the fruit of the spirit. Lord calls me eagle eyed seer prophet. Lord forgive me for being my pridefull

Every time i close my eyes i used to see things, like: places, or people ddoing things, and some times when i look at people silently i would know their issues, but i was so afraid that one day i rebuked the whole thing (i said if this is not from God i cast it in Jesus name), and since then not much has come, i feel fear i did quench the spirit, how would i know that all of that was from God?
Good question(s). The devil is not going to do anything that could be viewed as good; so if we sense someone is hurting - and are willing to pray for them that probably is NOT from the devil. I too have quenched the Spirit of God. I was in a church service once and felt a strong urge to give a message in tongues but I was fearful and did not fulfill the urging of the Holy Spirit. I asked God to forgive me for that (many times!) and the next time I felt God urging me to do something - I was VERY QUICK to obey! :) I would ask God's forgiveness and be honest with Him; explain your uncertainty and fear or pride or ignorance (just be honest and thorough) and be ready to move the next time God gives you a vision, a word or an opportunity. Seek counsel from others that you know are used by God if any are near you. If none are near you - just pray that God will make you a minister as he did the Apostles and the early church! I was touched by your sincerity and I do pray God enables you to get through whatever you're going through. One word of caution - the Bible is God's word and a reflection of who He is; however, the Bible is not God. The Pharisees knew the Bible thoroughly, but did not or would not recognize Him when they saw Him (Jesus) face to face. I see people treating the Bible like it is God Himself and they end up not open to all that God may want to do. And scripture says the Bible cannot contain all that Jesus did, that all the books in the world could not. So....the issue must not be that something cannot be of God if it's not in the Bible. The pertinent question is whether something is prohibited by the Bible. As a prophetic intercessor, I know speaking in tongues can be used in spiritual warfare, yet the Bible does not directly state that. Going out on a limb.... Aleister Crowley opened up portals to beckon in demonic spirits. If the wicked can do this, who's to say God might not train a Christian to close them? And portals are not discussed in the Bible either. Discernment and knowing the Holy Spirit can enable us to recognize whether a person is operating in God's anointing, led by His Spirit.

(1 Samuel 9:9) It sounds, by this Scripture, that they are one and the same, just the name has changed, from seer to prophet. Grateful to God for giving us prophets. Very important for a sound foundation for the church, with Christ as the Cornerstone.
And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” (Mark 6:4)
Very good thoughts, Ramzy. I read once, 'All seers are prophets, but not all prophets are seers'. I think there is something to that. Some are gifted with the ability to, in the Spirit, SEE things as they could be, or may be. Others are simply gifted with knowledge, but don't quite so clearly SEE through the eyes of the Spirit. This isn't spelled out in scripture, so I wouldn't say its Bible doctrine, but it seems to be the case as I've experienced various gifted people. @@JonathanMilam1 Thank you for sharing. I do believe that certain gifts may bring questions to our minds about what ministry or gift a person has, and maybe what authority. I do know that though someone has the gift of knowledge or gift of prophecy that it does not make that person a prophet. A prophet would have the gift of prophecy, but would operate in the office of a prophet. Also, all believers, unless they quench the Spirit can have dreams or visions. But if someone is a prophet God would speak to that person with His still small, louder, or booming voice, and would see what God wants Him to see. All the prophets are men, as can be seen after the cross, resurrection, and outpouring of the Holy Spirit. There were five prophets and teachers, of among them Saul and Barnabus, there was also Silas and Judas somewhere else in Acts, and also Agabas. Also, in 1 Corinthians 14, it could not be a woman, for she was not allowed to speak. I'm not saying you do not know this, but just narrows down how we identify prophets as prophets. They uncover things that are covered, as with the apostles, how they revealed that which was hidden in generations past, that the Gentiles were fellow heirs. Prophets bring clarity. Thank you for your time. I know it is so short. Our time is limited before the Lord's return for the end of all things is at hand, and for judgment. I have enjoyed this video; really feel I need the support because I don't get any support from those around me. I don't really talk about this to friends or neighbours, but I see through the 3rd eye on occasion. It is only when God wants me to really 'see' something, that he shows me. Can you answer a question for me. Are the pictures presented to me only those pictures that involve me, or is for someone else? Are they pictures of the future? I hope you can answer this......
Really, it is hard to tell what we are seeing. At times, we KNOW what we are seeing, at other times we may be seeing something that has yet to happen, or we see something for someone we may not yet know. As the Apostle Paul said, "Now we see through a glass darkly..." Even he, at times, seemed to be unsure of what he was seeing. Likewise, in the Book of Revelation, and sometimes the minor prophets as well, there are glimpses of things seen that they didn't seem to understand. One of the Old Testament prophets said something like, 'Who are these who fly in the air as birds?" He might have been seeing us in airplanes, but didn't know how to describe it. Anyway, when we have a vision of something we don't understand, this should compel us to pray and remain close to God, so that when the time is right we will understand how our vision or insight applies to a situation. I do hope this helps. :)

Jonniemae... This is the greatest challenge as believers in God. Job said, 'O, that I might find him...' As great as he was, in his darkest hour he could not find God. Isaiah said, 'Verily; thou art a God that hidest thyself...' Even for Isaiah, God seemed at times to hide. There is no answer for this, except to say 'We walk by faith and not by sight.' Your question is reasonable; and I hope that you may find God close by your side all the days of your life.
I am a Seer as well and it is hard especially in my church where the prophetic is dormant
Melecia: Greetings. Thank you for your comment; although it is tragically saddening. The prophetic is dormant and unappreciated in SO many churches - it is sickening. If you can find others around you that are similarly gifted in the prophetic for home/private prayer meetings maybe something can begin to happen? At any rate - be encouraged. God is raising up many in these last days to help the nations find revival. My prayers are with you!

It is dormant because if you see something you cannot tell the whole church because they dont understand..only a few do..but the majority think you are crazy and want attention, and think you think you are more special to God because you hear.
Jonathan Milam I need a mentor in the prophetic i have none...especially a seer mentor because i dont get words by impressions much...i see them with my eyes open and ti forms a story or a parable...i just dont have much mentor..even today i was telling the Lord...i need more understand in relating the visions.. how do i interpret them to the person i am giving.

Is not this walking in the spirit I really am not interested in having some title. Have been excused of being a seer. There seems to be continues prayer in something like this. I for one am glad that most of the time people don't know what I am doing not looking for a fallowing . Yahweh tells me I going to have one anyway and I will change my mind. I get so emotionally invested in people it's messy. At this time I am helping people.

John; this is indeed a special and challenging gift - very well said. I fear that a pastor such as yours diminishes the potential of the Holy Spirit in his congregation; very, very sad. Unfortunately, it is also very, very common. I believe the reason that Christianity has not won the world is because of the leadership. Phillip, in the book of Acts, had 7 daughters that prophesied? I wonder if their pastor was upset and felt he should do it all, and that God would only speak through him? Hm....
@@JonathanMilam1 my pastor is so knowledgeable of the Word. Greek breaks it down which is awesome but when it comes to the prophetic man he changes. Im just learning and came in contact with a person who wants to mentor me. Whwn im around them my gift manifests all around. Dreams, word of knowledge, ect. Um im trying to see how to word this. If the gift isnt being used should i leave and if when im around this brother the gift is stirred should i go to there church to grow in the gift ?
I can't (and won't) make a decision for you, but if I were in your shoes I would leave immediately. "Quench not the Spirit" is what the Apostle Paul said, and it appears to me that your pastor is definitely the type that quenches for control. However, pray to be sure and always move slowly and with sensitivity. The fact that a mentor may create a spark in you doesn't mean everything; 'try the spirits'. There are some churches that are heavy with gifts - and they are heavy with sin, too. Always be careful, don't exclude or cut people off from your life. Just be very sensitive and careful. It seems that the Lord may be opening gifts up in your life. Stay in the word and make sure everything is done scripturally. We want a perfect balance of word and spirit, or 'Spirit and Truth'. :)

Amen. Well said. I am a seer that has very prophetic dreams and the holy spirit speaks through me yet I am often overlooked by church leaders, ministers, and other so called men and women of God. Not just discredited, but ignored for the spiritual gifts and insights that are to be used for his glory and kingdom. Needless to say, the church hurt has been overwhelming.
I believe I understand your situation quite well. Most churches that I observe in the country where I live are run by managers - not ministers. They may be called ministers but they really aren't; they are managers. If you attend a church overseen by a manager they often don't understand, or are intimidated by, ministers - and a seer is a minister. So, at this time, in most places, the most needed commodity in the Kingdom of God, which is individuals that are adept at 'walking in the Spirit' (as Paul said) well....These gifted people are pretty much unwelcome. It's a tragedy but I've experienced it time and time again. Something needs to change and it's about time, isn't it?
wow, i do totally get it. i too over two decades have been sent places where the lord would show me his will for that place. he would show me whats wrong and whats right. who should sit and who should speak. just to mention a few of what it involves. to be able to function at a high level in this one must understand that the church hates this. why? rebellion. the kingdom of heaven is a kingdom of order, what you call a seer has recieved revelation from the lord of his order completely backed up by scripture and we instantly understand when its out of order. the fastest way to ruin this gift is to be out of order your self by creating a new office of the seer. there is no such thing, so be ware of this as there is a slim line between that gift being used by the lord or the enemy or self promotion. bottom line the prophetic office is to work in conjunction with the other 4 offices. operating independantly is out of order. every one operating in the prophetic office knows its about order, no predictions, any one sitting in the office of prophet knows the persecution is required as this is essential because no human being can relieve the load carried by the prophet, only spending time in the throne room resting on his chest hearing his heartbeat thus his will. its how it works. going into a church by request and providing a word of comfirmation of direction is not prophetic, but rather a word of wisdom from the throne to reaffirm direction. this provides comfort thus the knowing of being deeply loved thus the tears, tears of joy, humility, gratitude and peace. while its natural to have to grow into our office its important to not create things that are a whole rather than reconising its just a part. we must remain balanced again there is no office of a seer. the term seer is based in the occult and we must be very careful not to mix magic in to what is pure . there is a very dangerous trend to embrase the seer. its design is to ultimatly have this part of the prophetic office debunked. again there is no seer office its soley the prophetic office that involves much more than just seeing. to limit it there as the trend continues will continue to errode the true prophectic office in to scorcery. beware my friend
Not sure where the dislike of the seer is, but I'd check the Bible before I formulate any opinions, Ross. I Chron 21.9, "...Then the LORD spoke to Gad, David’s seer, saying..." Just know the Bible and agree with the Bible; that's all you need to do. If God was speaking to a seer, the seer was credible - God wasn't mistaken. So, God recognises a Seer, but you don't? Interesting. Must be some pretty bad instruction going around. I'll stick with God's word, Ross, and I'm not going into the occult, just sticking with what I've read and believe (the Bible). The Seer is one part of the Prophetic Ministry; every Seer is a Prophet, but not every Prophet is a Seer.
I am in a Baptist Church with my husband. I often feel spiritually stifled. I have prophetic dreams occasionally and want to warn people. My husband just says that it's demonic to see this or angels. He also discorages me from leading in any way. I have been invited to do so twice. My husband flat out says no way. You are a woman. Can a woman be a prophet or seer? I just want to be right with God.
You're in a difficult situation, one which will require patience...Lots of patience! :) Patience is a developed thing; God is probably working this in your life. A wise man once said, "You can choke a man by forcing too much steak into his mouth!" That's very true; even something lovely can cause someone to choke when it's too forcibly put to them. So, you probably won't want to say, "I had a dream and I see this..." Instead it may be better to just say, "I feel this..." and it may be less objectionable. Also, I think Rick Warren ( you can google him and the situation) was prophesied over (he's Baptist) by another great, very well known older Baptist minister... So gifts have worked amongst Baptist ministers who aren't overly enamored with gifts. While Paul did say, 'Let women keep silent in the church' we also read of Deborah in the Old Testament. I once heard a lady leading worshing in a church that had been asleep and suddenly the church came alive. I was so surprised I asked God, "What just happened??" and He responded to me, "She has the Spirit of Deborah". So, may that spirit, a spirit of power and giftedness rest strongly upon you. And may patience and wisdom enable your gifts to do great things! :)
@@JonathanMilam1 Thank you for the encouragement and blessing. This has been a 20 year journey and ,yes, an exersize in patience. Fortunately my husband has a lot of respect for Rick Warren. This is where I continually ask God for wisdom and discernment as to where to cast my pearls. I know that God would not place a gift in me to hide it in a closet forever. : ) Thank you again. And I know I need leadership so I'm praying and watching for who God places in my path that I should align with.
Nice response! :) By the way, I believe I recall the name of the older minister that prophesied over Rick Warren. If I rrecall correctly it was the widely acclaimen, well respected W. A. Criswell. I think people are loosely calling themselves seers/prophets nowadays, because they want to feel special, not because it's ordained by God.
People who see dreams are prophetic, but aren't prophets. Every believer can prophesy, but only a handful of people are truly called to be a seer/prophet.
A seer does not just have discernment (feeling), but they see into the spiritual realm; they see angels and demons with spiritual eyes. They can see auras; they can tell who is a believer, who isn't, and who is soulless.
A seer/prophet is blameless; they live sinless lives. They have overcome the trials and tribulations that God has given them, as this gift is mighty. Christ does not give this gift to those who are immature; the tongue of the seer is cautious as they can curse anyone (believer or not), and whatever they say happens.
They are hated by the world, and hated amongst believers.
They don't just receive dreams, but also interpret them. They speak in tongues, but can also interpret tongues.
The power bestowed on them is like Elijah, or Elisha; basically they have all gifts of the spirit on them, including healing, raising of the dead, and calling upon the elements of nature (earthquakes, storms, etc).
If you have the gift of dreams, and nothing else..you aren't a prophet/seer.
Those who seek the gift of the seer, check yourself first on why you want that..for fleshly desires, or to be truly used by God? If even one thought pertains to a fleshly desire in your heart..the gift will never be given.
The life of a true seer (not a false one), is very lonely, depressing, heartbreaking, and the hardest life to live. You will be constantly attacked by demons (not just a few, but thousands). If you let your guard down just once, or step into sin, you'll be dealt with swiftly.
If you want to experience the life of a seer (without the gifts), take 1 month of your life by living sinless. So praise God 24/7 by praying, singing in your heart, reading the bible. Block all temptations, resist all urges of fleshly pleasure. Your body, and spirit will be fasting from your sinful desires, and you'll soon realize why the gift of the seer/prophet is only given to a few.
Some very good, insightful points here - thank you for commenting. I don't believe that all prophets or seers see angels and/or demons; this is perhaps the highest level of 'the gift of discernment' and few, very few, have this sight into the spirit world. Many of those who have this sight become 'puffed up' and find their ego unchecked. Sinless is another area we need to be careful of...When we feel we are without sin, we have likely fallen to pride. The goal is to live above sin, but we are still attached to one of our greatest enemies - the flesh. Still, you bring several very good thoughts in your comment - thanks for posting here! :)

Great video, thank you for the insight. I recently learned what a Seer is, from a book I'm reading "Courts of Heaven- by Robert Henderson" great book. I've been a Christian 3 yrs and I still have a lot to learn, but I see myself growing everyday a little bit at a time in the wisdom of God's word and promises, all the Glory be to the Holy Trinity!
I have a question about my brother. Not too long ago he started searching for God and I think he has prophetic and Seer abilities, but I'm not completely sure. He tells me he has dreams of archangels speaking to him with messages from God. But he also has dreams of the spirits of dead people speaking to him with messages that come to pass. He has seen and conversed with dead people in real life as well.. he's found out later they were dead. He reveals that as a child he's always seen things including flying saucers. I know this sounds outlandish. My question is are these signs or abilities of a Prophet, a Seer, or a psychic? and do you need to have Years of Christian education to become a Seer or Prophet? I'm trying to figure out what God is calling him for. Also, can you pray for us, Flora & Boorney Larco

Great question. I've read this, and I agree; 'All Seer's are Prophet's, but not all Prophet's are Seer's'. A prophet may KNOW something is going to happen; perhaps it is a feeling that is given to him by the Holy Spirit, but a Seer might see a vision of an event happening... So, the Prophet might know - but the Seer might actually have a vision of an event happening.

Carmen, that's probably true. :) As Christians, we all may be shown things by the Lord, but that wouldn't make us all Seer's. If we consistently see things in the Spiritual realm, however, then we are probably operating in the office of the Seer. I think it's kind of a 'how often and who cosistent' kind of thing. For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away.

The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. I think all seer's are prophets, but not all prophets are seer's. Check the Old Testament out; certain individuals were called "... Seer's...". Perhaps you disagree with the Bible? If so, we certainly won't agree. I'm a Bible guy. For further response, please use chapter and verse. I will as well.

There isn't a 'Gift' of Seer listed in the New Testament, although there is a 'Gift of Prophecy' listed in I Cor. 12 & 14. Still, if individuals are called Seers in the Bible, do you think they are no longer used by God? It's assumed fairly commonly that when an individual is used in a certain gift, his useage in that gift is called 'an office.' Call it 'ministry' or 'administration'' or 'office', but you won't convince me it isn't an active facet of prophecy today (but distinguishable from a speaking prophet), because the Old Testament distinguishes them as different.
