Is putting the balls in the dryer the only way to get "felted"? I saw a hack for not using the washer for 1st part of process and I'm wondering there is one for not using the dryer. It's just me so it'll a while before I have enough dirty clothes for laundry. Thank you.
I love using dryer balls. I've been using them for years.
Me too, Chris. Since I made these cuties, I'm absolutely hooked. No more chemical fabric softeners! :-)
Thank you so so much this is wonderful
You are most welcome, Kay :-)

There probably is a way to substitute the dryer. All you need is heat and friction. A dryer is probably the easiest solution to get both :-)
Can you use a ball winder?
It's better to wind balls by hand because you want them to be fairly loose. If the balls are wound tightly, they won't felt as nicely.
