Guy Garvey joins Kyle Meredith to talk about Audio Vertigo, the 10th LP from the English rock band. The frontman tells us how it became a beats driven set that found the group going back to a recording process they hadn’t attempted since 2003, the inside stories behind some of the pseudonyms that populate the lyrics, and giving nods to Talk Talk, R.E.M., and The Beatles. Garvey also tells us how seeing a knife fight in Istanbul explains our communication with each other, and the personal traits that he’s been completely wrong about himself for years.
