- Langkawi - one of the best places we have ever visited. Not many places in the world can be claim to have the title paradise, however, this island at the North of Malaysia has credibility to earn this title.
It is ofter referred to as the Jewel of Kedah and has the unique attribute of being Duty Free, which is a welcomed addition for tourists. Langkawi is translated to the Island of the Brown Eagle which is apparent when you realise how many of these majestic birds inhabit the land.
This video has been one of the most enjoyable to make to this date. We would love your opinion and hope you enjoy.

Place looks awesome....what month did you visit? I've read rain can be heavy in Sept/Oct
I visited in July and the weather was perfect. I was in the Philippines sept/oct, where it also says there is heavy rain but had no issues 😊
Hey, for the Mangrove tour, can you please confirm if there are specific times when the boat leaves or we can book the tour any time of the day if we book the entire boat?
I booked the tour on Get Your Guide just to make sure I had a spot! They also picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel, which wouldn’t be included by just turning up at the start point 😊
Great Video, We are traveling soon. Quick Question - do we get grab cabs easily from the less tourist spots like skull beach/ Temurun water fall/tanjung rhu beach /kalut??
We mainly rented mopeds to drive around the island, which was super easy, as the roads were great. Grab cabs are available but I would check with your hotel what they recommend 😊
@@celinetravels22 Do we need an international driving license to drive it? Is there a check post to check this or is it easy going like Bali/Vietnam?
@@PassportAndPixelsI do have an international driving license but no one stopped me once to check. It seemed pretty chilled, like Bali and Vietnam 😊
