The absurd thing is that Kim didn't do it out of bullying, she did it for fun, because she thought Marinette would have fun, she would find it funny. It's a disgusting thing, ridiculing a girl in front of the boy she likes, IT LOOKED LIKE THE OPENING SCENE OF UNTIL DAWN 2015 BETWEEN MIKE AND HANNAH! And I as a Lifeguard can tell you that falling from that height a person can suffer serious damage from falling like that!
I hope they eventually elect a new mayor. Andre is terrible and Chloe's been abusing her power for far too long. It's time for someone else to step in so Chloe can be put in her place.
Andre never wanted to be the president, he only wanted his family to love him. He gave them everything to make them happy. But he said in season 5 that he has got a cruel daughter and a wife that barely remembers his name. And Zoe is just like him. She only wanted to be excepted as who she is. But her sister is a horrible person, her mom always forgets her existence, and her dad never even calls her. I loved it so much that Andre and Zoe became each other's family even though they aren't related by blood. It was so beautiful. I wanna see more of them becoming dad and daughter.
This episode made me cry, to understand why Marinette is how she is whenever she is with Adrien is heartbreaking and believe me when I say if my I am a parent and my kid goes through that, there will be hell to pay for both the kid and the parent
The whole time the past 5 seasons I was always laughing at her quirky shenanigans like classic marinette and the whole time it was ptsd I feel so bad now 😢
This episode honestly is what i can relate the most tho Espically - The bullies who constantly picked on me and took any advantage to hurt me and my feelings it took me 10 years to finally escape those tho. - one of the teacher in my school (kinda somehow side with another student) like.. she used to defend me from bully before then in grade 9 she somehow thought i behave bad all of the sudden.. and didnt even think of listening of what i been through like wtf.. other in grade 9 kinda listen and that teacher who side with student used to be my fav tho but she doesnt even let me a chance to explain.
@@BlueHairedLegoGuy Yeah dont worry after i'm in grade 10 my life honestly better with that bully from grade 7-9 finally went to different school tho... and i actually some how make a friend and he was the one who came to defend me from that bully from grade 7-9 (that guy was seriously so annoying tho) then we have like 6 strong years of friendship
I’m sorry to hear that happened to you but I’m glad things are better now. Honestly this episode reminded me of my fair share of bully stories. It was mostly from guys who got upset at me for not wanting to date them. Now that I’m older and gotten past those days, I just laugh it off now.❤️🩹😅
With opening lockers, Alya gave her a bit of confidence in the first season to stand up to Chloe and have her back off a little, as well as the rest of the student body having her back. And she always had anxiety everywhere we saw her. Going to the pool *alone with Adrian* reminded her most about that day with Kim that she pushed the very back of her mind; it caused her to panic more than usual bc *her body remembered* that emotional trauma. She was going after the symptoms of her problem instead of the actual problem until now.
Yeah I know how the director's are to blame for chole not getting character development but I still can't believe people still enjoy chole after watching this episode like yeah chole never appeared like she's worse than Hitler and yeah never appeared as a murder but seriously just because the writers made her worse than Hitler doesn't mean you can still enjoy her and yeah the Fandom calls out Marinette for not taking consequences for her actions and yeah chole isn't getting punished either and the Fandom is not hating her for that I wish the Fandom would beg for chole getting punished for what she did rather than come back as good chole and yeah there morons to think that just because the driector who brought chole back to her old self is going to leave means that chole would come back in season 6 and yeah after what she did to her in derision? You want her back? I see why people would want adrien and Luka back even I want them back but chole? And yeah I'm frustrated how people like to hate Zoe for coming out of nowhere and soclince isn't they hate her coming out of nowhere but not her and yeah the whole Zoe being a Mary Sue thing makes me hate Zoe haters more than Marinette haters because yeah at least Marinette has people trying to convince the Fandom that she's NOT a Mary Sue I think I'm the only one claiming that Zoe isn't a Mary Sue the only thing I'm calling her a Mary Sue for is loving her family even though they don't deserve it just because she's a nice version of a character based on a school bully donsen't mean she's a Mary Sue if she were a Mary Sue she would be too perfect to try to fit in with her mean family or get akumatized she doesn't even have a heastian no trying to reject the akuma and yeah in defgration she's definitely NOT a Mary Sue as she's forcing her mean sister back to her seat with an anger expression on her face do only episode I feel like slapping her in the face is Gabriel argreste as one of Marinette's friends inseiting her to dress like a butler man break into the argreste mansion and yeah getting the butler out of the way and yeah I see her introduction is what Zoe stans hate even me 1.if she were introduced earlier then she wouldn't be called out for only arriving to replace queen bee 2.she claims she's from New York even though she didn't appear in the special there weren't even hints 3.as Marinette was just getting to know her she's all like you're sneakers are awesome like what the fuck Marinette? Although I don't agree as I hate sneakers 1.thing I prefer chole over Zoe people don't just stare at people's shoes unless it's a brane new pair those are the first shoes you have seen Zoe wear if your going to say something nice about the looks of someone you just met you say oh yeah I love your hair or I like your dress but not your shoes are awesome or I like your jacket 4.i hade no idea that it's illegal to give your phone numbers to strangers but now that I know that's one of the things how zoe's introduction was not good .5 they made her a superhero right after her debut and about her debut episode it's okay not one of the best episodes but it's decent if you're a Zoe hater I think you only like the episode as it's one of those rare episodes that Doesn't focuse on Marinette Marinette getting so many episodes of her in the spotlight for almost 20 minutes in alot of episodes is one of the biggest problems of this bearly any episode makes her a minor character and yeah it's also one of the season 4 episodes were it's just ladybug and cat noir the classic duo without the other heroes that are making cat useless through most of this season and yeah it's one of the non season 5 episodes were Marinette/ladybug and adrien/cat noir were not even briefly are being love sick puppy dogs no Marinette trying to get close to adrien or cat noir harassing ladybug and yeah ladybug donsen't even get angry with cat in this episode I like episodes were they don't have love problems
20:22 I think it's because she was on a date this time.. just like she was supposed to be on a date with Kim when he pulled that "prank"... she wasn't on a date the other times she went to the pool so it wasn't triggering anything
Adrien finished his friendship with chloe for this reasons: He was willing to give Chloe a one last chance to change for the better apologizing to Marinette but instead she chose to be mean to her instead of try and willing to change, when Adrien realized that she wasn't willing to change he called it quits with her because he knew that she no longer was the friend he knew as a child (Cause she was so nice to him but when she was with others she put a mask to protect her feelings by being mean to others because according to her feelings hurt and she prefered being mean instead of being hurt by showing her feelings of compassion, etc) and he also realized she was far too gone for the fact that he knew that if she didn't wanted to change he couldn't do anything to help her become a better person and he didn't called it quits for his sake but for Marinette's sake seeing how badly affected her and since he loves her he is only looking for her 😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yk whats worse is that most of the so called *jokes* where with bugs and her miraculous is literally a bug STOPP 💔 She honestly deserves the whole world I feel so bad for her :( Also socqueline is such an amazing friend like omg
Well, you would feel the same way too, if you heard how Marinette's love problem began. Before Adrien, she was in love with Kim, but thanks to Chloe, he pranked her because he thought she would like it, she didn't. There's far and then there's too far.
Let's be honest: Marinette got PTSD only because Thomas found out how much hate she gets so he decided to give excuse for her stalking behaviour last minute.
@@czomolungmen1506 i thought about red first cause I'm a girl and when its that time of month bleeding through pants is every girls worst fear especially in skool. But brown is also scary to think of.
12:27 first of all this is an explanation not an excuse. Second of all stalking, breaking into people's homes, knowing their schedule, and stealing phones does not come from PTSD. If anything that just means that she has major trust issues, also this episode literally States in itself " Chloe's only acting in this way because her mother left her when she was young, another person: so did mine and you don't see me treat Marinette like this" meaning that explanations are not excuses. Meaning that Marinette does not have the right to break into Adrian's house know his schedule and steal his freaking phone.
Unfortunately the english dub is full of inconstities, They were always in ninth grade which is the last year of middle school in France. About the times she had been to the swimming pool before, she wasnt on a date with Adrien so she didnt have any anxiety attack.
I feel like I shouldn’t be surprised by the inconsistencies anymore because there has been so many since season 4 (probably even before that) but I get they’re trying to add more depth to the characters and story
Can't say I sympathize with Marinette much for this. The anxiety feels so out of nowhere, and it's clearly an attempt to excuse her obsessive, stalking behavior towards Adrien. Also it just beats Chloe's character even further into the ground, as if we cant get enough of that as it is after the potential she had with a redemption arc.
@@alatf9312 I don't know about this; people can be triggered in specific situations, I think. It could have been anywhere else, I think it would have been the same. Marinette was stressed about the date because she feared her loved one would do something and she'd be left heartbroken and deeply hurt again. She knows that Adrien would never hurt her, but she couldn’t help it, the trauma was still there. Again, this is just what I think.
@@shreksyqyes, and to me, their date looked like the one she had with Kim and that went terribly wrong and left her with a trauma she hasn’t healed yet at this time. If you have more arguments, then I'd enjoy hearing them so we could discuss.
I for one would love to see Chloe meet Stewie from family guy, Cartman from south park, Miss piggy, Sam Puckett and Max, Caroline and Sophie from 2 broke girls. I'd love to see Chloe's reaction if Stewie and Cartman called her profanity names like blond b-ch, or the w word or Miss piggy go hiya on her or Sam to give her the butter sock and Max, Caroline and Sophie to burn her as Max never takes crap from anyone and trash talks them. I'm sure she'd shut up for once in her life. How do you think she'd react? Has she ever considered getting Chloe a restraining order? i know that's what i'd do and make sure she's not allowed within 50 feet of me. How do you think she'd react to a restraining order?
I’m loving your reaction and I can’t believe Chloe did that to Marinette like bullying her like for years like dang. I feel so very sorry Marinette. This episode I don’t like Kim like bro he is stupid and Chloe is bully guys. I hate spiders so so very very much.🥰
You know that the "pool event" is before "Derrision" right? It just REVEALED in "Derrison". Revealing something happened in past in an episode, doesn't mean the thing happened in the past is new. For him losing the miraculous, something NEW should be happened. Things don't change for no reason. In this episode, nothing happened to cause him lose the miraculous. There is no reason for him to lose miraculous after "Derrision".
This one of the most disgusting episodes I’ve ever seen (no hate towards any of this video) but it’s the truth. This is why Marinette/Ladybug isn’t the person she used to be anymore and why she ain’t gonna be the nicest human anymore bc of all the harassment she’s been going through. Absolutely disgusting!
I don't understand really why anyone likes chloe as a character but also why they expect her to have character development when it wouldnt fit someone in her place. Shes rich has gotten and will get everything shes ever wanted and feels that she has power over everyone else. She has ZERO reason to want to change and is very deep in her behaviors, i don't think people should be content with a person who had done horrible things to everyone and bullied marinette to then have marinette be ok with her or wtv, like that doesn't feel right to me
Bruh. Should I tell you that this episode wasn't planned? This is just made for to excuse Creepynette's illegal actions, such as: stalking. The writing is not to mention was forced, Creepynette used her Mary Sue-perpowers to make her and Sockclean the victims, and to don't make Chloé's obvious actions consequenses to piss the audience off. Fun fact: many fans like myself call Creepynette a stalker or a Mary Sue.
@torokkecske-tv i don't think this has my other comment, but I didn't like that marinette was given stalkerish traits but she's not doing anything illegal as she doesn't follow him around constantly or harass him. The episode makes the beginning of the series and the movie make more sense tho
This episode makes no sense to me. First of all, PTSD is NOT an excuse for stalking. Secondly, her having PTSD doesn’t line up with anything. How come she didn’t get PTSD when she went to the pool with Kagami? Or when she fought the Syren? Or when she was going to the pool with Alya and everyone else? Doesn’t add up. Not to mention she doesn’t have a grudge against Kim? Marinette hates Chloe but has nothing against Kim..doesn’t make sense. Open your eyes everyone, this was written in to make Marinette look perfect.
Well I mean there's a lot of things about your statement that could be right or wrong depending on how you see and connect things. Her having ptsd lines up with a lot, I mean we see this girl literally freaking out from small things EVERY episode, and usually when she talks about the traumatizing events of the previous year it's very quick and cut to the chase and related to the situation simply because the show was meant for people that more than likely wouldn't understand this for the first three seasons. Also, marinettes brain runs on extremes, that's why I mentioned her freaking out every episode. She lacks rational middle ground thinking as marinette that she gained as ladybug and that's why I think people forget that ladybug gave her the confidence and stability she needed to function at a more normal state than before. I can say the pool thing might seem pretty wonky, but being as some people's traumas are tailored to a specific event, it makes sense. Her trauma is tailored to being on a date at the pool and being tricked, not just the pool, not just a date, and not just being tricked, so this can also check out. I think for the most part we can see that marinette is a very forgiving person, she's still very calm in the way she talks to Chloe in parts of the show but mostly not because Chloe is STILL trying to do bad things to her. I think she simply just doesn't hold it against him outside of her traumas surrounding the situation. I don't think it was made to make marinette look perfect but to show that things that were simply laughed on or lightly spoken about in earlier parts of the show, do actually have an effect on the main character. Just to shine a little light on the brain going to extreme thing, I believe that her behaviors toward Adrien are built off of his fans behaviors and adding schoolgirl crush qualities to it as well as being his friend, and her brain went to the extreme with actually getting to know EVERYTHING about him. The breaking in his house stuff is weird and I don't think that can be explained but her having anxiety and ptsd can make sense for her character
Honestly, Kim x Marinette is one of my crack ships.... of course Chloe ruins it. I love the dumb jock and sweet klutz dynamic, and they would look good together as a ship (not a canon one, its just for me).
@@JuniorGustabohow exactly is marinette a marry sue ? She is filled with flaws , what she is right now is due to the support of her friends , and i think people only like chloe bcuz they are miserable like her.

@@KaelyWaelyBecause it's not the pool that makes her anxious. It's the date with her crush who was a friend of Chloé at the pool. She's apprehensive because it's subconsciously reminded her of that date with Kim
@@myrla9745 The pool would remind her of the date itself, that makes no sense.

Fr! If Andre wasn’t mayor anymore then Chloe would have no power over anyone anymore
he even said himself he had a dream of being a filmmaker and he doesnt even like being the mayor in S4.
The fact that Kim bullied max
this actually also traumatized me
This episode made me cry, to understand why Marinette is how she is whenever she is with Adrien is heartbreaking and believe me when I say if my I am a parent and my kid goes through that, there will be hell to pay for both the kid and the parent
I 1000% agree! They aren’t getting away with it😤
The whole time the past 5 seasons I was always laughing at her quirky shenanigans like classic marinette and the whole time it was ptsd

This episode honestly is what i can relate the most tho
Espically
- The bullies who constantly picked on me and took any advantage to hurt me and my feelings it took me 10 years to finally escape those tho.
Dang, sorry to hear that man.
This episode was a really good character development story for Marinette and it actually made me like her even more😊 (Can’t say the same for Chloe….)
@@SecretStarr101Reacts Agreed! I can’t wait for more 😭
Yeah I know how the director's are to blame for chole not getting character development but I still can't believe people still enjoy chole after watching this episode like yeah chole never appeared like she's worse than Hitler and yeah never appeared as a murder but seriously just because the writers made her worse than Hitler doesn't mean you can still enjoy her and yeah the Fandom calls out Marinette for not taking consequences for her actions and yeah chole isn't getting punished either and the Fandom is not hating her for that I wish the Fandom would beg for chole getting punished for what she did rather than come back as good chole and yeah there morons to think that just because the driector who brought chole back to her old self is going to leave means that chole would come back in season 6 and yeah after what she did to her in derision?

I feel bad for her getting paint on her pants but it could have been worse the color could have been red which is way worse than a different color 😅

Marinette was lucky she didn’t get hurt physically when she fall on the pool in real life a person would have crack their skull or die from drowning
Where do y’all be watching the episodes 😭😭
@@SecretStarr101Reacts I can debate that actually
Can't say I sympathize with Marinette much for this. The anxiety feels so out of nowhere, and it's clearly an attempt to excuse her obsessive, stalking behavior towards Adrien.
Also it just beats Chloe's character even further into the ground, as if we cant get enough of that as it is after the potential she had with a redemption arc.
It’s not an excuse, it’s an explanation
Now that her story has been explained, we can choose if you can move on from her past behavior or not
@@josratubangurait clearly is an excuse
Well I did realised something when I watch Season Pingeon 72, I think is bullshit she at swimming pool with Kagami we never see been traumatised
I think it's because Kagami is her friend. Maybe the truma "wakes up" only when she's with her loved one.
Trauma wakes up anytime with or without Lover and friends.
@@teru__sanAdrien was literally there
@@shreksyqyes, and to me, their date looked like the one she had with Kim and that went terribly wrong and left her with a trauma she hasn’t healed yet at this time.
I hate spiders so so very very much.🥰
Yeah Soqluine is right Kim really is a dingbat. At this point Kim doesn't deserve the monkey miraculous just like Chloe after Derision.
Chloe: I don't need you, i have money

This one of the most disgusting episodes I’ve ever seen (no hate towards any of this video) but it’s the truth. This is why Marinette/Ladybug isn’t the person she used to be anymore and why she ain’t gonna be the nicest human anymore bc of all the harassment she’s been going through. Absolutely disgusting!
Did you noticed that Marinette has never resented Kim before this episode? That's because this episode forgot continuity.

Kim becomes dinner 🍽 for Animan
adrien❤💛❤
Chole is no Zuko
We all hate chloe even more.
